However...all religions have well versed, studied theologians who interpret the same exact scripture differently....so, who is right and who is wrong.

Serious question, and please no canned, Sunday School response about he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God...

I want a specific answer...why is your religion and your scholars correct in their interpretations...and the other religions are not?

I had asked a question earlier about Christian sects that interfere into married couple's sex lives. I got a LONG thesis on the RC churches' position on sex for pleasure and not reproduction.

Where in the gospels did Jesus say that married couples are not to use birth control and having babies was THE most important part of marriage?

Or did this RC teaching come from another source?

Loyalty Day is observed on May 1 in the United States. It is a day set aside for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American freedom.

Loyalty Day is celebrated with parades and ceremonies in communities across the United States, although many people in the United States remain unaware of it. Although a legal holiday, it is not a federal holiday.

Then I found this in wikipedia.com:
International Workers' Day (a name used interchangeably with May Day) is a celebration of the social and economic achievements of the international labour movement. May Day commonly sees organized street demonstrations by hundreds of thousands of working people and their labour unions throughout Europe and most of the rest of the world — though, as noted below, in neither the United States nor Canada. More-radical groups such as communists and anarchists are also given to widespread street protest on this day as well.

And also:
The United States has its own Labor Day holiday, celebrated on the first Monday in September instead of on May Day. However, in 2006, May 1st was chosen by immigrant groups in the United States as the day for the Great American Boycott, a general strike of immigrant workers and supporters to protest H.R. 4437.

According to Leviticus 10, Aaron's sons took censers, put fire in them, and incense on top of that.

The result was a strange fire - so god sent another fire to devour and kill them.

Do you think they did that on purpose? Did they realize the fire was strange? I don't own any censers, so I'm not sure if that's the normal way to do it or not, but from what I understand of censers this is exactly how you use them.

If it was on purpose, can you figure out why they did it, and how? What made the fire strange that one time?

If it was an accident, don't you think god overreacted? Wouldn't it be better to explain to them what they were doing wrong instead of just killing them? Also are they in hell right now for this? And how can we make sure this kind of accident doesn't happen again?

In the beginning, Adam and Eve were pure, right? Since he created everything and knows everything, why did he created the evil snake? Since Adam and Eve did not know evil, why did he punish them? Isn't it kind of like entrapment? He created the apple, and created the evil serpent, and places them with Adam and Eve, basically knowing that this Will happening because he is all powerful and knowing!!??

No matter what's been said, the Bible is completed. Matt 5:18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Proverbs 1:1

-- Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar. Proverbs 30:6

Do we need additional words of wisdom from would be prophets? How many more "prophets" will come along, attract a following and bring their Bibles with them?

Will J.W.s and Mormons continue to alter the Bible or quote from their holy books or will they read in Rev. 22:18 where it says, "I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book".

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, as good as offered up Isaac, and the man that had gladly received the promises attempted to offer up [his] only-begotten [son], 18 although it had been said to him: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” 19 But he reckoned that God was able to raise him up even from the dead; and from there he did receive him also in an illustrative way.

Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great, that the following prayer would release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was extended to include living sinners which would alleviate the indebtedness accrued to them during their lives.

Eternal Father,
I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus,
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the Universal Church,
those in my own home and within my family.
Amen.
Thats a lot of souls released - how many souls are in purgatory

aren't the people at church already the good and faithful...so what gives with the fire and brimstone messages...it's not like a lot of lost folks go to church...if they are at church they are probably Christians? Why don't pastors just challenge the flock to be good people and to love others....

I do not consider myself a "christian" or anything near resembling one.. But I would like to know why monotheistic religions war with each other? Isn't it within your own bible that whenever "two or more are gathered in my name". Does it matter the name? Does it matter the traditions of each denomination? Or is your God a different one from the ones that the Lutherans or Baptists, Catholics, Islamic, Buddah, etc.. Is it not a God of Peace? And Love? And Divinity? Or is YOUR God different? (BTW I'm not speaking of extremists either) But every day religions.
