The Buffalo flew. It was so far that their wings fell off after the long flight, and we eat spicy wings to honor their noble sacrifice.

There were likely no kangaroos on the ark or penguins because they were too far away to have a relationship. Not all Christians believe it may have been a local flood and speaking of Noah's point of view when it sais all earth was covered. That could mean all earth Noah could see.

There is no reasonable answer for this if you believe in the great flood. In that case you would have to resort to god did it. Since there is no credible scientific evidence of a world wide flood, the animals are where they evolved to be or where they have migrated to.
