seems like because of your common enemy of the gay people that you would band together to fight this awful foe! But, yet you rip into each other...

You know its the minority who always end up giving the majority a bad reputation.

I understand what you are saying. I've been watching these forums for a few weeks now and quite frankly am surprised to see how hostile some people are in their responses to others. I've noticed this from various religons but not so much the LDS.

The lack of love and humility that is shown on tis board, that holier than thou attitude completely contradicts the teachings of Jesus.

No wonder people think Christians are weirdos when people carry on like this.

Can you explain why I am a self-righteous in-bred, in-fighting hypocrite?

Maybe homosexuality is against my faith but I wasnt raised in the truth I converted therefore I am no in-bred. And I know nothing I preach about and then do is hypocritical.

I am though sorry you feel this way.

That's Satan's ploy, divide and conquer. But, many people just don't see this.

One LDS apologist/scholar was talking about how he saw that a group of various Christians were getting together in their neighborhood to fight a porn shop wanting to open. When he and his bishop went to the meeting to see if they could help, they were politely told to leave, as they were NOT Christians! He said, they would rather get rid of the Mormons than get rid of the porn shops.

Sharing the Bible with others is a simple part of being Christian. Clearly any who don't see things as I do are either right or wrong. I simply am willing to share my views. As far as your comment about those who decide to engage in homosexuality as far as I am concerned, sharing my beliefs with them is no different.

You say we fight. Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to go to war. We are non-political. We haven't "banded together" with anyone to fight gay marriage. What the U.S. government decides in regard to this issue is none of our concern, as long as we continue to obey "God as ruler, rather than men." We do not condone sinful practices, but we love our neighbor.

It seems to me that we are the ones that come under attack from other so-called Christians. And we are more than willing to defend our beliefs using the Scriptures.

I am not sure what fighting you are talking about. There is a lot of resentment towards the LDS church. As for any fighting originating from the LDS church, the church itself maintains the teachings of Christ, and does not fight. We simply testify of what we know. Individual members, will sometimes get offended as people do when they get attacked, but this is not by any means the teachings or actions of the LDS church.

Gays are no worse than anyone else who chooses to allow their urges to control their lives. You find that on many Christian Churches who believe that once saved always saved so the can sin all they want.

This question doesn't make any sense. Since when were any of these religions fighting? Yes, they may disagree on certain docterines, but they aren't "fighting".

My thoughts:
Please leave Jehovah's Witnesses out of this. We don't fight or debate with other religions.
