Everything we do is for some reason whether right or wrong.

We are living in a world of do's and don'ts,
wrongs and rights, causes and effects.

You dont have any scriptures to restrict yourself from doing any wrong. People following religion are doing evil things with guilt - you are doing it without. Your doors to wrong doing is wide open.

Where do you draw the line as to weather I should steal the wallet or not, kill this person or not, cheat on my husband/wife or not?

Do you know that the fact that if you are guilty of murder, you can be sentenced to death or life imprisonment.

This punishment creates a good justice system that protects you and I, and............

............this good justice system comes from non other than Holy scriptures that you DONT HAVE.

The Bible was canonized by the group that became known as the Catholics. The non-Catholic churches stems from the Catholics. If the Protestant church from which all non-Catholic Christian denominations originated considered the Catholic Church "The Whore of Babylon", why did that Protestant church accept the Biblical cannon created by the Catholic church but only removed what it considered to be apocryphal? There were many many books that could have been re-included into the Bible for canonization minus the ones they disagreed with. Why did they, and still do to this day, take the "Whore of Babylon's" word that the rest of the books were worthy?

Thank you blueridgeliving; this is also an excellent question. Please, in your own words, describe to me what makes Christianity the religion of brotherly love? Or explain what makes it more of a religion of peace than Islam or other religions (if you believe it is).

...have you ever not been horribly disappointed when you went in and read further?

Yes, including this time, go on, have your fun. Not as much fun as defending evolution against that great "atheists' nightmare" that is thermodynamics, natch, but try anyway!!

I ask this question in all seriousness, though I realize it could sound snarky. I am not as knowledgeable regarding Islam as I should be. Please explain, in your own words, what it is about Islam that makes it the religion of peace.

I would like to believe that god exists but I have seen no proof of this, which makes him a theory like the bing bang, evolution, etc. I've heard about "how do you think the animals were created?" but I've never seen God making a rabit out of a few bits and pieces. What evidence is there to God exists so that he would be more than just a theory?

What does Jesus mean when he calls John the Baptist "less than the least" in the Kingdom of Heaven?

Matt 11:11 Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. (ESV)

How would I feel if Jesus said that about me?

Since marriage is one of the sacraments a person can be bestowed with during life, why is it forbidden for Priests to be married?

From my understanding, this is the only sacrament that a Priest can never receive.

First off let give a brief backround of where I am comming from. I was born and raised catholic. I am still christian I just go to a non demonanational church now.

What the priest said was "If there is a catholic getting married to a non catholic in a non catholic church you should not attend"

I don't believe this is consistant with current catholic docturine. I have had more than one priest tell me marrying a non catholic was not a huge deal. Even marrying a Jew was ok(bigger deal but still ok, not sure on Islam though).

And even though It is not offical catholic docterine(as far as I know) It is statement like that on marriage and birth control from priest and the pope that I driven me(and I imagine some others) away from the catholic church.

I have looked through the bible there is not in it that backs up what he said. And I agree with my minister. If there is a conflict between what a human(him or that priest) say and what GOD says we go with what GOD says
