We see angry people for the following reason:

All of us, believer and non-believer are sinful by nature, therefore,

The intent of our heart is "only evil continuously". Gen. 6:5
Our "righteous" deeds are filthy garments. Isa. 64.6
Nobody is good. Luke 18:19
They cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 3:3
We are not righteous. Rom. 3:10
We do not understand; we do not seek God. Rom. 3:11
We have turned aside; we are useless. Rom. 3:12
None of us does good. Rom. 3:12
We do not fear God. Rom. 3:18
We are hostile to God. Rom 8:7
We are unable (not just unwilling) to submit to the law of God. Rom 8:7
We cannot please God. Rom 8:8
We were dead (not just gravely ill) in our sins. Eph 2:1
We walked according to Satan. Eph 2:2
We lived in the lusts of our flesh. Eph 2:3
We were children of wrath. Eph 2:3

Only those who have become righteous before God through the atoning sacrifice of Christ can hope to fight our sinful natures (see above).

One of the most infuriating questions was about how parents are apparently worse than they used to be. Do people realise that being a parent is a second-by-second, minute-by-minute job? It's not a concept. It's not an idea that you have at the same time as dealing with the rest of your life.

I think the only reason why parents say that they're doing great is because they don't want strangers hanging around offering to help out with the children.

Religion's a touchy subject and brings out anger in people who might otherwise be pretty calm. What's the old saying, "Never talk about politics or religion?"

Religion tends to be the core belief for anyone committed to it. Thus, when someone attacks religion (and in this forum, its often attacked in a flippant, careless and mean-spirited manner), you're attacking the most important thing in someone's life. That's going to get quite a reaction out of people.

I can't say anything regarding the atheists, and they're usually the calmer of these two groups, from what I've seen. Although there are those who seem to have been hurt by "religious folk," and thus attack religion with anger.

I think there are just a lot of people who can't stay out of other people's personal lives, and they use their religion to snoop where they don't belong.
It comes across as angry, and some of it may be anger, but much of it is probably longing to act on their own desires.

People have many reasons for their anger and that does not bother or surprise me at all, what is inexcusable is the filthy language and remarks that are now becoming standard on here, Yahoo Q&A`s is a forum for genuine inquiry, and it is now getting much harder to read and reply to a sensible inquiry from others.

Anonymity seems the reason. It's like the highway, isn't it?

I just ask myself, how many pounds of dirt do they have to move to get an ounce of gold. There are some wonderful people on Y!A, and some very good questions. I count on stared questions by my contacts. Good luck.

Like we don't see anger expressed anywhere else? How about the V Tech killers expression of anger? At least this is only verbal, and no one has to be here if they don't want.

For some it's a release so they don't have to show the anger elsewhere. For some they are just so angry it just shouts out from everything they post.

When I see it, I pray for those people. God loves them no matter what.

I'm angry and I'm here because I don't have a life and because I'm so angry about being a failure that the only thing that makes me feel slightly better is to try to bring good people down to my level.

I don't notice as much anger as I do stubborness. Anger exists, but I don't think there are more angry people here than anywhere else.
