No: It is sad that start of the art science cannot prove nomadic goat-herders false for those who don't believe in God. All science seems to be able to prove is that the events recorded are as far as they can tell true or what would have been viewed as the truth to those who lived back then.

It wasn't just the goat herders, it was a bunch of scribes who wanted to hold power over the people, by using fear! The same way the Aztec priests, and Mayan priests held the powers of life and death over their people. They got to choose who the "Gods" wanted for sacrifice. Especially if they wanted your house, your livestock, your money, your wife and daughter! And the way your Mom gets you to eat brussel sprouts! If you don't behave, the boogeyman will get you!

I think its sad that people are willing to abandon their eternities for engaging in their own sinful activity. What good is it if you live 80 years of the best life possible on earth and go to eternal punishment???

Btw, state of the art science once taught the earth was flat. Science isnt always right. it is simply the human effort we make to understand the world God has created. It cannot save you or even bring you happiness.

Some people are born goat-herders, and they only see the goats & the grass. They teach their kids to only see the goats and the grass too, and to tell everyone else that only goats & grass exist. Goats = muslims and Grass = koran

I've got no problem with it. Let them believe what they want. If it makes them feel better about death that's cool.

It is sad indeed! Those shepherds were quite naive. Greek thinkers knew much more than the Hebrew shepherds did.
