Many.

On and off the Net.

Most were very normal, decent people ; and I saw some very disturbed individuals here.

I don't judge all of them by the few crazies like a guy called Punter, Osama bin Ladan, Pkstn Pride, English Pride etc, here. They're severely disturbed people who need medical help.

I have some "sisters" who are Muslim and wish the others could've been like them.

For those who don't know Arabic, that's "To you, be your Path; and to me, mine."

I worked with a woman who was Muslim. She was a very sweet, soft spoken woman. She was from Afghanistan I believe. They had to flee the country. She was also very pretty. She had reddish hair and green eyes.

What impressed me most, was her conviction. In our department we also had someone who was Jewish, and someone who was Hindu. I'm a Jehovah's Witness. So technically, all four of us did not celebrate Christmas. Me because of it's pagan background and them because they are not Christian. She was the only one, besides myself that would not participate in the Christmas celebrations. I admired her for that!

Well, of course, I've met Muslims. Some were students, some were co-workers, and some were friends or neighbors. Never had a problem with them. They never gave me a reason to dislike them.

There are Muslims in my family. My cousin married a Muslim and the entire family came as a package deal. She is very kind to my Aunt who is ill, so I like her. Also, my cousin is happy. I like that. They are just people.

I have met many and am married to a wonderful Muslim man. I dislike a few but it has nothing to do with their religion and everything to do with their personalities.

I knew quite a few in school. They didn't participate in things like drinking, sex and drugs, but were mostly normal. I can honestly say that the women were awesome, but the men left much to be desired.

Many.

They are usually very nice and good people. I have met some that are very radical in their belief systems and refuse to interact with me once they realize that I don't believe in the same way.

But that is true about many Christians and Jews as well.

I have never met a Hindu that disregarded me for nonbelief, but I am sure they are out there. Religion tends to gather those sorts.
