I am a paranormal researcher and I need to study spirits at home. If any one has any ideas please do tell. If possible provide a source. I am not religious so please don't go on about religion based methods. I am not crazy and know how to handle entities. Its just a matter of getting them to reside in my home. Again, does anyone know how to get spirits into your home. Thank you in advance.

I'm not that experienced with the Torah or Hebrew, lol, so forgive me if these questions sound silly.

1. Is the Old Testament and the Torah the same?
2. Is it a translation of the Torah or a summary of the Torah?
3. The Christians believe that (in brief) the New Testament overrules the Torah, so is the Bible's OT a revision of the Torah without the parts that were overruled by the NT?
4. Am I just totally confused about the whole thing? Lol! If so, plz 'splain.

Right to lifers alway claim to be doing Gods work. Does it stop being Gods work if there is a financial or personel comitment involved.

Explain your answer honestly with some details as to why you choose your answer. Also when it comes to answering questions from those who ask your help do you also consider that in the way you have answered their question in the way you have with them how would you feel if it came back that way to you? I know Atheists (occassionally) do that, but, I'm just asking because you're all monotheists, and Pagans are polytheists. Get to the basics, both groups believes something's out there.

So why are you (not all Christians are like this, though quite a few are) allowed to tell us (Pagans) we worship Satan or our Gods don't exist, but if we (or anyone) says it to you, you get up and arms and start yelling?

It's not like Pagans try to convert you guys.

I mean... think of how that would work. Really, now...:

Just curious, I have read many answers & questions in here and I wanted your opinion. I have noticed that many atheist (not all) seem to have the view that the bible contridicts itself all over the place, that's it's very obvious that there is NO God and Jesus was either a fraud or a mad man with a huge ego. Several web-sites I looked at also say to "watch" the collection plates etc..

I'm sure you understand what I saying.

My question is this, do you believe that the Christian leadership (many extremely well educated) also believe this and are just fooling their followers for money, fame etc.
In other words are the leaders merly playing a game to controll the ignorant masses into submission for power and or money??

some countries are very poor. like guatemala or bolivia. why should the church take the donations and send it to Rome. There are plenty of poor people where it was collected.

My Question regarding "Independent Thinking" by JW's was deleted due to JW's crying/whining. Yet in the answer section they accused Christians of condoning all sorts of immoral behavior. How come WE dont "run to mommy crying" when the dialogue gets heavy and THEY do. You know who they are. Initials: P.B. / A / I / Is this how you guys dialogue? When you cant come up with a decent answer, you complain to Y/A? You guys SAW the answers AND my comments. Now come on, is THAT what you call a PERSONAL attack? Special note to "P. B." : What a Baby you are. "I'm an old man and nobody cares about my opinion anymore (boo-hoo)" . Why dont you GROW UP? Be a MAN!

It doesnt hurt to be called stupid but to be called stupid for what I believe in it crosses the line! You dont see me calling you stupid for believing in Evolution! I just think its wrong! i am not even close to what it takes in my mind to be worthy of god. i dont go to church as much as i should. i hurt people everyday whether its physical or mental. i lie, cheat, and steal (not stuff from stores). i commit adultry by lookin at girls and thinkin thoughts about them. i kill people (not physicly) but by hurting their beliefs. do you think i am worthy for gods grace?

All right, people: The Pope is on an anti-abortion campaign, and apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) you adore the Pope. Now, I have a question: Do you agree with his anti-abortion campaign and thoughts? Think about it. I am not anti-Christian. I think is is a wonderful religion that doesn't support violence, and I appreciate that. I am just saying: Women, flash back (or forward) to when you were 15. Now, think about you get raped by some guy you don't even know. You are carrying his baby. Would you do that? Would you love a child and go through labor and all that for a child that isn't your own, because he/she wasn't conceived through normal relations? Because that is what your Pope is suggesting to do. And how would he even know? He's not a woman. He doesn't understand rape, and what it does to you. So how would he know?

I came across this bit in the Bible: "If a man be wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, he shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord." I'm not going to go into the details of my accident, but I'm told the Bible was inspired by God and God doesn't change His mind, does He? So it seems I'm not allowed to go into the congregation of the Lord. But if I got surgery and maybe got myself fixed up again, would I be allowed then?

I have a hard time drawing some kind of conclusion about the Trinity Broadcasting Network because some of it I see is so far off from the scriptures its terrible, yet there are some that appear to be genuine.That being the case is it really of God or not? I cannot seem to able to support it.
