all of these christians are so fast to say that the aliens would just be one more of god's creations, but what they're neglecting to realize is that none of these aliens would be familiar with the bible or jesus or anything christian. so the question then would be, why would god create all of these advanced creatures (presumably some of whom might even be more advanced than we are) and only give his holy book to us??
if such a scenario where we discover intelligent life were to happen, would christians believe that these aliens have souls? or would they just consider them extra animals who are here for our benefit? and if they're just soulless animals, then why would god have made them more advanced than us?? -- the christians who have answered this question seem to be blowing it off without a lot of thought, but clearly there would be some rather profound implications.

I believe that with the knowledge of immortality and other advances anything can become possible even a God. God might simply mean higher knowledge and wisdom. There are some things you just can't share with those who would abuse it for their own personal gain and arrogance. Perhaps our interpretations have always been flawed anyway. Trust takes time. Supposedly there will come a day when humanity is mislead by one of these beings if we haven't been already. What if Christ the messiah was just a program or misrepresentation of fact? Than the alleged anti-Christ is actually the truth? Can we handle the truth yet?

I won't be surprised because as far as i'm concerned the god of the bible is an extraterrestrial.
And his angel & devils too and this would explain all of HIS limitations, egos & emotions. Why he travelled in a cloud for 40+years with the Israelites in the book of Exodus. A cloud HE could fit in, that LIT UP LIKE FIRE in the night and it NEVER changed its shape from being pillar shaped.
Not to mention WHY he has a "Crystal City" coming DOWN out of heaven in Rev-21. AND the Greek word for heaven is Oranos which is equivalent to Orion the constellation.
This is the truth about the biblical God but hey... only in time will they see for themselves.

What does an intelligent alien life form coming to earth have to do with still believing in God? Am I missing something here? I would think that God is Great, and he really did not stop with just us. I do not think we are alone anyway.

It said God created the heavens and the earths he created the universe if you really think we are the only ones in this massive universe we all have a rude awakening coming. I would believe all the more in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Joshua or one of the old testament books it refers to an alien life form look it up.

Yes! How does life on other planets interfere anyway. This is a great big God we are talking about. And a great big universe we live in. There is no telling the possibilities of God's creation. Who am I to try and place limitations on God.

Although I don't believe in creationism, I think it would be perfectly fine to believe in God and have other life forms in the universe. If God exists, why would he create the whole universe for just one life form? What makes us so special?

I don't believe in creationism, but it would confirm my long belief that we were a science experiment gone horribly and put on this planet until we killed each other off and allowed the more intelligent life forms to live in peace once again.

There are many life forms that are not human that make themselves publicly know but they do not make me doubt God. They simply allow me to ponder his sense of humor....look at Michael Jackson, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. Although I am not sure they would count as intelligent life forms.

Sure! Who said that God did not make aliens? (not that I believe in them) How does that negate the Bible?
Now if the alien proceded to claim that there was no God, or that God did not exist, that would be another matter. I would still choose to believe (scoff if you must) and would believe that the "alien" was probably a demonic manifestation (scoff if you must).
