What are some good bible verses to counter Christian fanatics who keep turning the whole Love Your Nieghbor thing into these kind of messages

-Are you my neighbor or do you deny Christ

-My denomination is Righteous those other Chruches are not my neighbors and they can merrily go to Hell with the Christ deniers

-I attend Church every Sunday, do this and that for Church so you can have Christ in your life when you do all of these magnificent things that I do

Okay, I have not heard these sayings that I can recall but I keep running into people who push these kinds of concepts on people and they were out in full force last Christmas so I want t be prepare for Easter.

So Christians or whoever please point out osme verses that I can use if I need ot counter these fanatics.

Thanks

It's one think to believe being gay is a sin. It's another to attempt to crush any semblance of happiness for gays. Opposing equal protection laws and not just marriage but any legal recognition of gay relationships what-so-ever. Lots of things are considered sins from gluttony to pre-marital sex, yet no one is lining up to pass amendments banning those things and certainly not banning them from getting married.

I heard on the radio today that in order for the previous Pope to receive this (didn't hear what it was), he had to (from the grave I guess) perform a miracle.

My questions are:

1. It sounded like they were trying to honor the previous Pople for something but what exactly are they talking about?

2. Blessings? Is this standard custom? Already a nun is claiming that the previous Pope cured her of Parkinson's. How valid are these claims?

I'm not trying to disprove anything, I'm simply not in touch with Catholicism and was intrigued by what I heard (wish I heard it all).

Muslims love the bibles command to "love your enemies" and "turn the other cheek"...go to Islam chat rooms I guarentee you hear the mockery of these Christian pacifist doctrines.

It appears the Quran's command to "fight all who dont believe in Allah" (Quran 9:29) is winning by a long shot. Christianty has almost a one thosand year head start on the war-religion of Islam, and Islam's numbers are closing in already.

There are already 50+ Islamic countries and everywhere in the world Muslims are pressing for more land.

Christians must contradict their religion to even defend themselves, but Muslims fullfill their religion by killing kafirs (non-muslims) for any reason. The Quran has hundreds and hundreds of commands to murder unbelievers. The only stricture is upon "innocents" (Surah 2), but of course, unbelievers can never be innocent, in fact they are guilty of the worst crime possible!

Islam is savagery will prove the most successful...if it hasnt already.

Really, I'd like to know this answer. Should you have to pay for religious instruction. I'm talking above and beyond buying your own books and equipment.

Why am I asking? When I was first introduced to Wicca, one of the students with me asked "How much can you make teaching the Craft?".
The HP stepped back so he could see us all and said in a voice that left no room to argue.
"No ethical wiccan would ever charge someone to learn the craft, it cheapens the teacher, the student and the Craft" I have held to this belief, I'm just curious about what others think about this.

So, what do you think?

Proverbs 31:10-31
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

If there is no God, then where did the first human come from and something as complex as the human body could not have evolved from anything else. Do you think something as mysterious as the universe and all the planets could have been produced by a big bang? I am just curious as to what you think your purpose is for being on earth and where is your soul going after you die? I hope you change your mind before it is too late......

Can anyone explain how Paul's theology of faith alone saves us seemingly contradicts James' faith+works=salvation kind of theology. It seems strange to put human works in with God's grace? Any serious thoughts would be appreciated.

Many people today mention the thief on the cross and don't think they have to be baptized because the thief was not baptized and Jesus assured the thief he would be in heaven with Him. but what some people don't seem to understand Jesus was alive on the cross when he forgave the thief's sins but when Jesus died the only way now to have your sins forgiven would be to be baptized.i believe this....what do you think?

so i just started going to church, i havent been going very long but i really like it. so anyway, a friend of mine (another girl) is lesbian and she kinda tricked me by pretending to be interested in my crush's friend and said she was nervous about kissing him and asked if she could practice with me. i didnt ever think about her being a lesbian so we practiced making out with each other. now she tells me that she's in love with me.

anyway i feel really guilty about what happened with me and my friend and i dont know what to do. does this mean that i cant go back to church now or what?

According to following verses God hates sinner as well.

“As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” Romans 9:13

“God is angry with the wicked every day.” (Psalm 7:11)

“You hate all workers of iniquity.” Psalm 5:5

“Do I not hate them, O LORD, who hate You?...I hate them with perfect hatred;” Psalm 139:21,22

If you believe God loves the sinner, can you explain these verses?
