There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed where he cursed Jews and Christians because they built their churches near grave yards.

I thought that prophet Muhammad gave respect to other religions.

Is there any harm in building a church near a grave yeard?

He is a deacon in his church and has a sister that he doesnt speak to because he didnt like her life choices nor does he go and see his Mother who is in a nursing home.

I answered creatix' question(two words only please) and was suprised to see how many people answered yes to her 2nd question of Do you know you're right? As a Christian I believe that I am right, but how can anyone know 100% that they are right? There are too many things that we can just not verify to be 100% for sure. I think too many people confuse knowing with believing. What do you think?

Many people beleive that gay people are born that way. They have a hormonal imbalance. So why does God hate someone and set them up for a path straight to Hell?
Please give me your view on if you are born gay or if you choose it, and also if you are born gay why does God do this?

Also, are there many gay religious people? Do they still abide by the bible but just skip over the homosexual remarks?

I am not trying to be rude to gay people or Christians. I was just wondering. I mean no harm.

If you were given the choice, between torture and death, or converting to a religion you didn't believe in, and didn't follow, what would you do?

Think along the lines of the Salam Witch Trials, (which btw, not one practicing witch was killed, they were all innocent woman).

Would you denounce your faith, in order to save your life, and the lives of your family?

A study done recently shows that, unlike what the moral minority tells us, there is NO truth to the idea that being religious makes you a better or moral person.
Quite the opposite in fact. Areas in the US that have higher church attendance have also higher rates of teenage pregnancy, murder and suicide. On the other hand, in areas where church attendance is less and more secular school curriculums are the norm, the rates of teen pregnancy, murder and suicide are dramatically decreased.

Not that any of us had to be told that. All you have to do is see how christians live and you'll know instinctively that religion does NOT equal being a good person...

Do you agree with the way the Bible says you should treat your slaves?

Do you agree that anyone who commits adultery should be executed?


If you do not agree with the handling of slaves or stoning anyone who commits adultery, how can you then turn around and use passages in the Bible to discriminate against homosexuality?

Help me follow your logic. I would sincerely like to know how Christians pick and choose which parts of the Bible to follow and which ones to completely ignore?

And on a side note, do you think Jesus taught love and compassion or hatred and discrimination?

I have a muslim friend who can't quite grasp the understanding of the Holy Trinity being one. He also has a problem excepting the fact of Jeus being the begotten Son of God, and he believes that Christians tend to worship Jesus and put him before our Father.
