I'm not gay so I'm supposing, but I would think they get offended because we say offensive things about their lifestyle. Christians sometimes seem to think that a man and a woman shacking up together is somehow not as sin full as the gay lifestyle. So in ignorance they say meaner more ungodly things to and about gays. It's ignorance on our part.

There is a section for it. Here in R/S they take everything personally like we are slamming them...I have a friend that does that to and she gets very offended over even things that have nothing to do with her lifestyle. The best thing to do is pray for them.
