14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

No it is not true, God chose not to heal Paul and surely he was in God's will. God is wise and all knowing and he answers all prayers. Sometimes with yes and some times with no. We must accept God's decision, for he in infinitely more wise and knowing than we.

you've got this a** backward. I don't quite believe in the Bible, but even I, am able to read this and see that the words here are in regards to saving someone's soul - not healing mere physical sickness. We cause our own sickness. yet he is still able to heal them by asking them to pray and confess, etc.....healing the soul.

No. And Yes. We can ask anything from Him if we are truly in His word..but who is, really. Miracles do happen. Why God does not save everyone...I do not know. But I trust that He will take care of me. He conquered the death.
