The Bible made us to understand that Blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians. I don't want my husband's hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers, for their own selfish interest and in an ungodly manner. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the bossom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace.

Then what the big deal about committing sins? I mean lots of you bible huggers say sins can be forgiven...so whats the big deal? Like you guys say gays are sinners, but if they ask for forgiveness before they die aren't they good to go? Oh and by the way IM GAY and the lord loves me and told me it's ok to be gay!!!

I'd just like to hear your thoughts on this.

I'm just saying that it is hard for me to believe any of the Bible AND believe in what we know through science. Either you accept the Bible and deny all scientific accusations or you deny the Bible and accept science.

Has anyone else noticed this?

"They" give Christians sooooo much credit!

Any reference to God, will be followed by a remark about Christianity.

I love it!

...This question is directed to Christians...

Personally I believe in the literal 6 days, but I do notice many Christians on YA who believe it was 6 ages or 6,000 years or similar.

Could I ask those who think it was other than 6 days, why you believe this, where do you get this idea from, is there scripture to back your claim?

Again personally I believe God is all powerful and He would have no problem creating everything in 1 day if He chose to.

Serious answers please, not looking an argument just different opinions etc

See, to me i believe! Why would Jesus leave us with nothing? He didnt. He gave us the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us. My dad explained why he gave it to us.My dad said its like if i was to wake up in the middle of the night, with no light anywhere, then i call out for him. I cant see him, but he says, son im over here, and touches me on the arm to let me know he is there even though i cant see him..That is the way the Holy Spirit works..Jesus said, I have to go away to prepare a place..So he left the Holy Spirit with us to lead us and guide us..I was just wondering why alot of people dont believe in the physical feeling of the Holy Ghost? Alot of people believe in it, they just say that it ended with the Apostles..but in Acts it says 2:38-39 (Repent, and be Baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost) For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off) Amen

This thought occurred to me as I read a book about interfatih connectinos to Abraham... anyway, the statement made was from a Jewish man, who may not have attended a Muslim sermon, but was sure that the imam put people to sleep- the same way that my Christian background taught me the priest always did.
What if all leaders, across the board, INVOLVED the people, in persoanl dialogue, righ there in the houses of worship?
OK, so there are some people who choose their own discussion groups, and as I'm learning, Jews are encouraged to participate in Misrath, the interpretation of text into relevant times...
but these events happen OUTSIDE of the sermons I know of, and leave involvement to choice.
People slip through the cracks, no?
Can we bring people in? Who cares which tradition- can we revitalize spirituality and relevance in our own lives? To metaphor, etc.
And, are Unitarian services liek this? I have a vague idea that they are...

It is very easy to be an atheist on earth when you have everything you need and all is well for you. You live comfortably, you have friends, a job, and everything is going well... Why would do you need God?

Don't you think it’s also very hard to be an atheist on your deathbed? In these last moments, you will start thinking, "what if there is a God?", "what if these guys are right?"

Will you be able to reject God as easily as you do now when everything works for you? I wonder if there is a single person on earth that never thought "what if?" on his deathbed?
