Amen hun, amen! I have personally recieved the Holy Ghost at my Pentecostal church. Everything is much clearer and more evident to me. It's absolutly amazing. And I try not to let a day go by that I don't thank him for it.
By the way; if your Christian and don't believe in the Holy Ghost, your not a Christian; read the Book Of Acts.

Luk 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Luk 8:13 They on the rock [are they], which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luk 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of [this] life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Luk 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep [it], and bring forth fruit with patience.

Greetings Brother.
I'm not a Christian but I am very passionated with all religions and curious to learn them. I am always interested to discuss on any topic which I know and seek knowledge on those topics which I do not know.
From the book of Luke, we can see that "the holy spirit" was already existed when Jesus was around.
Luk 3:22 The Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove, and a voice came from heaven, saying, You are my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.
Jesus did not have to leave for the holy spirit to appear. There are many places in the old testament where we can find the Holy spirit. For ex:
“By the word of the Lord were the heavens made,
and all their hosts by the breath (spirit) of His mouth” (Psalm 33.6).
Num 11:25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and had talk with him, and put on the seventy men some of the spirit which was on him: now when the spirit came to rest on them, they were like prophets, but only at that time.
Num 27:18 And the Lord said to Moses, Take Joshua, the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit, and put your hand on him;
I can cite more examples but it will become too lengthy. But I interprete the holy spirit differently, just like I see the son of god to be any of us who is obedient to god, as a son is to his father.
"The holy spirit to me, is that great feeling of religiousness, the bliss of believers, of those who walk with faith in life, whichever religion the believer might be practicing." I can't imagine the prophets and messengers before Jesus was without holy spirit. There is no logic in making way for holy spirit.
This is how I see things.
God bless.

I think a lot of people seem to believe in a spiritual force in the universe...but they may have trouble believing that they can have a give and take relationship with this force...
We seem to be two different species, and rarely (if ever?) do two species share a common communication system.
Perhaps we would have to be born again...

when I was saved, all kinds of things ran through my head. My feelings and attititudes were changing, even the things I was doing and my friends were sorted out. The next thing every time, I found my self resrting back to some old ways and beliefs
It depends just how strong or week you are. are you one who fights to keep good on their side or are we weak and get fed up with the battles and moves on.
We are, whar we are, God no's it, but lets it happen any how

The word "ghost" connotes something eerie, scary even, because of what they might have been taught.
As a child, I did not want to hear anything remotely akin to 'ghost', especially since my mother told us ghost stories and I would be terrified to go to sleep.
Perhaps, that might be it. If they don't acknowledge His existence, then that sort of makes it okay for them.

There's no such thing as ghosts, goblins, faeries, demons, balrogs, hobbits, angels, elves, werewolves, vampires. There isn't a shred, not one shred, not one tiny shred of evidence that this crap is anything but self-deception. That's why.

It's not that Christians don't believe in Him but many do not understand his purpose.
