I'm getting a Ph.D in biology soon, but I'm noticing that a lot of people don't listen to biologists.

Even worse, my dissertation addresses potential biological feedbacks to climate change, especially greenhouse gas effects. A lot of people don't believe that climate change even exists.

Do you think I should quit studying and go read the bible instead?

Think about it: Eve is blamed for the fall. Sarah (Abraham's wife)is known to be jealous and have a bad temper. Bathsheba can only have one reason for bathing on the roof, and Mary Magdelene was a prostitute (according to opinion, not the Bible).

Do you all think that women have a bad rep in the Bible (and Torah, to be fair) or no?

Let's assume that a single, true god created all things in the universe, and, as many scriptural texts in our world indicate, this god is a loving god which cares for its people and wants to provide for them.

Does it make sense for this god to bar from salvation those things which it has created and claims to love? Shouldn't it matter more that the person is a member of the human collective and an active participant in the universe, and is therefore loved by this god?

from my last question in this topic I learned that the reason muslims dont follow the Old Testament is because they believe it to be corrupted or at least most of it has been -

please tell me the doctrine that you believe to have been corrupted in the OT and then corrected in the the Koran
no need for specific versus but you can if you like - I'm looking for general teachings that the Koran has updated or corrected

Christians, I appreciate debate, but when yor questions are almost all, "prove god does not exist", you have clearly given up. I am not saying that God does not exist, I am saying I believe there is an equal chance god and the doppleganger lollygag exist, however slim.
