Yes, according to John 1:1. This simply means that Jesus acted as Jehovah's spokesman, or explained more fully God's words. Read these: Matthew 7:29; John 1:18; 7:16-48; 29.

The Word of God is:
- Everything that God Declares or Promises
- Everything that God Commands
- Everything that God Is
- Jesus is all these things, in the flesh. The embodiment of the Word of God.

I was just taught something recently about Jewish language the Hebrew language. In Hebrew to say Jesus is the word of God is correct. In Hebrew it is also correct to say the Bible is the word of God. In Hebrew it is also correct to say that the Holy Spirit is the word of God. Many definitions can go in one box or make up same answer. For instance a pencil. If I ask the question - What is a pencil? Most people would describe it - long, wooden, usually yellow with lead running through it with an eraser on the end. In Hebrew it would receive the answer "you use it to write with." In Hebrew its what it does. In English its what it is.
What I am trying to explain is Hebrew has many meanings for the same thing and it is not cut and dry meaning you are wrong and I am right. For this reason, Christians keep everyone asking - Well, who is right?

The word of God is the Bible. Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins. Try the 'Left Behind' series from Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. These wonderful books answer so many questions and are easy and exciting to read. The last book in the series hits bookstores on April 3rd. They follow the teachings of the Bible but are much easier to read and understand.

When God became flesh, He did not become a new person but continued His timeless existence, relationship and diety.
When the Word became flesh in human form, He revealed God to man. Jesus is the God-man.

Jesus is many things. Word become flesh, example, teacher, God in human form, healer, savior, friend...I would say that He is also word of God. He confirmed the Old Testament and promised the New Testament. : )

No, even the so-called wise men and women will a one day "know" that they have been fools for quite some time, now. The "word" of God is the total outcome of the elaborate choices we humans make and why we make these choices. For example, why would you ask such a simple question if you, yourself already knew the answer, in about a total of "three" different ways.? Does not the HolyBible give several references to other books written that relate to that piece of scripture you pointed out to us?
