Rather, tell them to seek God. As we do that and allow Him to change our hearts the things that we want to do will fall in line with the things He wants for us. I can't think of a more enjoyable combination.

It all doesn't happen right away but that is why there is grace.

I even have concept a similar element many cases, yet I do consistently ask 'might I ask you a question' of clerks in shops ... this gets their interest in the direction of me, not in the direction of folding clothing or including numbers or something else. I additionally say i might desire to ask a 'extremely stupid' question, because of fact for some reason as quickly as I say that the guy i'm asking consistently thinks i'm asking an particularly clever question ... As for the final question, I even have merely ignored many busses by using being around the line while it went by using, and have been waiting there for fifteen to thirty minutes, and that i might opt to kick the questioner interior the enamel while they ask if the bus has come yet ... for a similar reason. now and lower back, i will tell the guy the different bus that has long previous by using as the thank you to get my 'small anger' out ... yet locate that the bus they needed is the only that left 3 minutes formerly their arrival. What gets me is they provide the impact of being to think of I might desire to have 'held' that bus for them, even although i've got in no way even considered them formerly. those human beings are not merely 'stupid' ... they're so self based i ask your self why they don't 'stress' ... precise off a cliff!

There is no hate on the path of righteousness, however you may be asked to do something you don't really wanna do. I actually spent the last week in prayer over this! I've begun feeling hate, I mean real disgust and even anger like I have never felt in my 41yrs. It worries me so, because I do trust that everything I have comes from God. But I don't know if He would want me to have such angry feelings.

God has always told us to forsake sin, but he is also merciful and faithful to forgive. every drop of blood that is shed will bring a person to judgment and each person will be in danger of judgment if it is not self defense or other lawful justifiable cause.
in the christian world if men confess their sins, it is often thrown back in their faces even if it is meant to be an of contrition or repentance.
But, the bible often has historical Example of Good men going bad and it is publicized to teach righteousness. God himself can take anything bad and turn it into Good. So a person who chooses to tell others, must decide whether what needs to be said is worth the repurcussion.

another thing to consider is: the ability of a person to be able to choose not to do something verses how much a Person is weak against defending against being forced to do something.
a person who is a repeat offender is the one who is the guilty party of both his actions and his victims. especially if the vicitim is beyond his/her own ability to choose. and more especially if a person is able to choose and forced anyway.

Uhmmm I dont know what your question is about.

Gods way will require change, we are sinful beings and we love to do bad things (sex, theft, gossip - are all the same thing - SIN) and we will have to stop doing those things in order to go Gods way.

It appears that you are giving up a lot to follow God, but he has a lot more in store for you if you do!

A better approach is a "positive" approach in that you would share what good things, what improvements to your life that could be gained from "believing." The negative approach, ie you will be slammed if you don't do this, is not always the most helpful.

No. God wants us to be happy. He also wants us to do what's right, which may mean us doing things that we don't like to do.

So maybe it's not to do things that we hate persay, but rephrase that to say "sometimes you must do things you don't want to to go the way of God."

Our imperfect nature makes us want to do the things that are pleasing to ourselves. So, going against our selfish desires is what it is speaking of - disowning yourself.

This is horrible advice. The point of the Christian faith is that God changes our hearts and brings our desires into alignment with his desires so that we delight in living our lives for Him.
