What happened to people like the Native American's who had never even heard of God and all that? Did they go to Heaven or Hell?

As I understand it, Schellenberg's argument runs roughly as follows:

1) If there is a God, He is all-powerful and all-loving.
2) An all-loving and all-powerful God will want to be in the closest possible relationship with all His creatures for all Eternity.
3) In order for such an eternal relationship to come about, there must be no rational non-belief. (i.e., all those who sincerely try to enter into a relationship with God must be able to do so)
4) Therefore, if there is an all-powerful, all-loving God, there must be no rational non-belief. (from 2 and 3)
5) Rational non-belief exists.
6) Therefore, there is not an all-powerful, all-loving God. (from 4 and 5)
7) Therefore, there is no God. (from 1 and 6)

This seems to me to be a very powerful argument, and I can't think of any way around it, except for attacking premise 5 (which I am honestly not inclined to do). A Calvinist, of course, would attack premise 2 (which I also would wish to avoid). Any thoughts?

This is really rampant in the R/S area. People will say what another religion believes with nothing backing them up, just going on what they have heard. This is common in other areas, too. How many times have you gotten emails from well meaning friends about computer viruses or other hoaxes? Why are we so gullible?

Many users are regularly being deleted for no reason other than certain other people dislike them. Groups are attacking groups out of what seems to be pure spite. Violations are being arbitrarily assigned simply because others hold views one may not agree with. Is this what we want to see in here? Can't we avoid and defuse this warfare before this section of Y!A is ruined beyond repair?

I KNOW I KNOW.. you know there is a god.

Does that take away your ability to ponder what if there wasnt?

If you CAN do that.. please answer the question. If you cant, then this question is beyond you.

What if there was no god. And you could KNOW this?

The entire premise of the question is thus. I KNOW YOU KNOW there is a god. I am asking you what if there wasnt.

So, given a god free existence, would you run around raping and pillaging knowing that there was no afterlife punishment in store for you? Would you be a jerk to others? How would your life change?

dont they realize how their bodies adapt to different circumstances??? Heat, cold, darkness???. Is it more than possible that if we had to live in darkness our senses adapted to this lack of light. Dont they know that 100 years ago people died because of flu and nowadays there is no one (even though the person doesnt take any medicine) that will die of that??? isnt that enough proof that our body adapts to new situations and changes and hence it evolves?

would he show? Or, would he allow one crazy person to exterminate all life on earth?

(For naysayers, understand that nano-technology involves self-replicating, molecule sized machines that can change the structure of compounds (like water) at the atomic level. The fear is that this technology might escape into the world, exponentially multiply, and change a crucial aspect of our environment necessary for the existence of life on Earth.)
