Wouldn't you say that God will be God no matter what we think of him, accept or reject his existence? Often times I hear people say "my god wouldn't do this or that.." We like to shape him into an image that fits our lifestyles, so we don't have to feel bad. Just imagine God is who he says he is then our interpretation of him is not what counts. Rather it is His word that accuratley portrays him.
I am conviced that people do not like to accept a God with rules, because that would mean they would have to alter their lifestyle to please him and follow him. Atheists regard this as a judgmental or rule abiding life, they do not see it as a freeing life that can bring not just happiness in life that is not temporary (like so many things of this world are ex. sex, drugs, alcohol) but permenant joy. So introducing Evolution or anything contrary to the bible we have eliminated a God whom we one day have to give account to what we have done with our lives.
