There are some freaky looking people hosting those shows-like the lady with purple hair.

I saw one where Mr. T was talking about how people are devil worshippers because some sports teams have "devils" as mascots, like the Jersey Devils, the AZ Sun Devils, the Duke Blue Devils, etc.
You know I watched that! Mr. T's one crazy preacher man!

I don't about the lady with the purple hair but I know on TBN (can't get this on Cable anymore unless I pay more money to cable co.) Jan Crouch wears a pinkish wig. Her grandson calls it her TBN wig.
Like anything else in life, you have to use common sense when watching even Christian shows because some are off the beaten path. If they do not speak the truth of the Bible. Beware!

I saw this couple on the TBN channel. She was wild. She was even weirder than Tammy Faye Baker. I couldn't help but watch them and think, good grief, people send these people money? I don't remember their names, but I think they started the TBN channel. Seriously, she wore ten times more makeup than Tammy Faye. All of the furniture looked like it was made out of gold. It was all very gaudy and bizarre.

I hope not, the time would be better spent in prayer, bible study, a nice long walk, a bubble bath or coffee with a neighbor, etc. ;)

I have some students who say that those network shows are how they worship on Sunday rather than going to church. Sad, I think.

The only one I watch is EWTN. It used to be great and very informative when Mother Angelica was on. She was down to earth and told it like it was. I really miss her!!!!
