Before christianity other religions existed, others thought their religion was the true religion. I'm not saying anyone is wrong here but i often wonder; everyone wants their beliefs to be true or else we wouldn't believe in them so strongly. We believe so strongly that they are like words on stone to us. If a missionary(sp) went to visit a tribe in south america they would be completely convinced she was wrong and they were right about their gods or godesses. Not dissing anyones religion but everyone wants to believe that only theirs is the TRUE way. What if there is more then one true way?

So if we are constantly tested by God, could religion itself be a test. Religion has been a cosntant focal point of conflcit thorughout history. This is not to say that religion is evil. Maybe religion is a temptation away from harmony, for instance if we are not responsable with our religioun life gets thrown out of balance.

I do not neccessarily believe this but what do you think?

In order for it to be true, someone must have to acually BE there at the beginning of the universe. How can we say what happened? Were we actually there? When police solve crimes, do they go solely on evidence, or do they use eyewitnesses? Evidence is not always reliable, unless you have absolute proof of its validity. If evolution is true, why has it yet to ascend to a "scientific law?" Why is it still a theory? Can't they ever amass enough evidence to prove it? Nope, they will never acquire evidence to fully prove evolution. God always wins, so they might as well give up.

A young girl was having a fight with her teacher about Jonah.
"It is impossible that Jonah was sallowed by a whale, whales have small throats", said the teacher.
"But whales are the biggest fish out there", answered the girl.
"But it is still impossible!" Replied the teacher.
"Well I'll just wait til I get to Heaven and ask him myself," said the girl.
"But happens if he went to hell?" Questioned the teacher.
"Then you can ask him!" Said the little girl.

If, as some say, we evolved originally from rock, was it a single rock or spontaneously from thousands of rocks all over the earth?

I would like to know what passages in which religious texts specify that women must be covered. I am most interested in why Muslim's have this belief, but would also be appreciative of answers for any other religions that believe similarly.
