I believe in God because of the hard evidence he exists: in the order of nature and the universe, man's superior intelligence and moral conscience. But the most incontrovertible proof of his existence is no other than Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son and the second Person in the Holy Trinity. He was sent by his Father not only to save and reconcile mankind. He was also sent so that men may come to know God. What human can:
Silence a typhoon?
Walk on water?
Multiply a few loaves of bread and fish in order to feed a multitude of 5,000?
Bring back dead people to life?
Give sight to people born blind?
Change water into wine?
Rise from the dead?
These miracles prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Jesus is what he claimed to be - God. They demonstrate Christ's power over life and death and the forces of nature. Only a God can have such powers.
And if these miracles were just made up, Christianity would not have grown by leaps and bounds in the first century. Many people witnessed these miracles. The resurrection of Jesus cannot be silenced because more than 500 people saw his resurrected body.
May the Lord's peace be with you!

Eclipse: This question has been posed numerous times, in differents ways and forms. Firstly; there is no Scientific proof to state that God does exist - BUT; there is none to say that God doesn't - either !!! What there is - EVIDENCE - implying God's existence such as the fossil record re: Cambrian pylia [ division ] - also known as the "Big Bang" by Paleontologists. Another piece of evidence is the element Uranium [U32] - Uranium has a half-life, when Uranium begins to break down [decay] into Lead [Pb] after a period of time ( about 7 - 10 thousand years ) . If the earth surface is Billions of years old, WHY hasn't ALL the U32 decayed into Lead by now ? This law of physics illustrates EVIDENCE of a Devine Creator. Personally; I know God is real and who He is can be distinguished by His Name from the Bible (both, Old And New Testaments ) as, the " I AM " - denoting "God" as limitless - having many titles such as, Wonderful Counsellor, Everlasting Father, Creator, Allmighty, Omnipotent, Ever-Living, Healer, Sustainer ... etc., etc.

There is only ONE True God. Search every religious book you can find, study the moral-value in each book, and your search is finished when you find the best moral-value! The source of the best moral-values must be the TRUE GOD!
If you find more than one God with the same teaching of highest moral-values, then seek the ONE with the BEST BEHAVIOUR.
I already did those searching and I found Jesus is the only TRUE GOD.
Other gods, wherever you may find, are lacking in the teachings and/or the BEHAVIOR!

If there is a complex item such as a computer, we can logically assume that someone created this computer. It didn't appear out of no where. Similarly, what is more complex? A computer or a human being? Doesn't that naturally imply human beings had a Creator? It is impractical, illogical and unjustified that human beings evolved over time, because if we even trace that back to the Big Bang the subsequent emergence of life in submarine environments, it is illogical to equate the presence of the Big Bang with mere chance.
In physics, it is common knowledge, even for dummies, that energy is not created all of a sudden, there has to be a precursor, an instigator, a beginning of this energy. How could energy have just popped up and caused the Big Bang to happen?
Actually, the Holy Qur'an explains this: God Almighty CAUSED the Big Bang to happen. Actually, about 1400 years before scientists even KNEW what the Big Bang was, God Almighty mentioned it in His Final Revelation after the Bible, Torah, Psalms, the Qur'an. He even mentioned a plethora of other scientific miracles because He wanted mankind to be guided to His truth.
You see, God almighty is unlike His creation. He is not Jesus, He is not a man; He is Unique.
If you want to find out more about God Almighty, the SAME God that ALL the prophets of God called to, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon him) and if you want to know all these prophets' original message, you should know that they called to the fact that:
there is no god but God.
The recognition of the One true God and submission of our selves to Him will not only help us to attain peace and happiness in this life but also in the Hereafter through the acquisition of Paradise, God willing. Also, it will help us to be more positive and contributing members of society to follow God's laws which include anti-racism, charity, establishment of laws, family preservation, and much much more.
I invite you my friend to answer the call of your Creator and worship Him alone without any partners and to embrace the original and true teachings of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.
I invite you to open your mind and see the reality of this life, and to see that God's religion is logical and in sync with reality, not confusing and corrupted by the hands of men.
Believe that: There is no god but God, and that will be the best decision of your life, I guarantee it. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, and this is why. Simplicity and truth.

We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.
The most basic proof of God’s existence is simply what He has made. “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that [unbelievers] are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). “The heavens declare the glory of God / And the firmament sheweth His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).

The material knowledge begins with atheism and moves towards skepticism and then antagonism culminating in the improper understanding of ultimate truth or absolute truth (which some call as God) as impersonal or void. The bible, quran, torah and the teachings of Buddha of Buddhism and Mahavir of Jainism all deal with this material knowledge, which says, there is no God or everything is nothing, or if God is there it (he) is impersonal which is another way of saying no God and so on.
In these scriptures, compared to a pocket dictionary, there is only a hint about the nature of God.In the Vedic scriptures, compared to an encyclopedia, there is much more information about the name of God, form of God, qualities of God, activities of God. Vedic scriptures are go beyond the imperfect material knowledge and give the spiritual knowledge.
Therein one understands that, GOD IS A PERSON and thus has all the personal qualities what we have. WE HAVE A FORM because GOD HAS A FORM. It is not that God has a form because we have a form. The bible also confirms that man is made in the image of God not that God is made in the image of man. Our present material body is temporary and destroyed, whereas we as spirit souls are eternal and the spiritual form is never destroyed. Only the body which is like the covering of the eternal soul is destroyed. With the material vision we cannot see the soul since we are accustomed to seeing only material objects made up of matter. So with material eyes, we cannot see God. But God has got form. That's a fact. Now we are unable to see. We have a spiritual form and God also has a form with two hands, eyes, legs, hands, and everything. But the ingredients are not material but spiritual.
The Vedanta-sutra says, Janmady asya yatah, which means everything is born of the Absolute Truth. Since the Absolute Truth has got form and female aspect, we have form and female companion. Noone can possess, a form or wife or anything that is not present and coming from the Supreme Absolute Truth. Again, the Vedanta-sutra 1.1.12 says, that the nature of the Absolute Truth is anandamayo 'bhyasat, which means, the Absolute Personality of Godhead, Krishna, wants to enjoy ananda (happiness) with his pleasure potency. His pleasure potency is not material since Krishna being completely spiritual doesn't enjoy the material energy but enjoys the internal energy. The Vedas say, Parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate, that Krishna has got many energies multi-energies, and by utilizing, manipulating that energy, He is manifesting Himself in so many ways.
Therefore, impersonal concept of God is imperfect conception of God. As per the statement of Brahma in Brahma Samhita, the Suprem controller, Krishna, God, is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (eternal, knowledge and blissful form) and is the cause of all causes both material and spiritual.
Excerpts from the Introduction to Bhagavad-gita-as-it-is
by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada,
Founder-Acharya of ISKCON
(International Society for Krishna Consciousness)
When we mention the name Krishna, we do not refer to any sectarian name. Krishna means the highest pleasure, and it is confirmed that the Supreme Lord is the reservoir or storehouse of all pleasure. We are all hankering after pleasure. Ananda-mayo 'bhyasat (Vedanta-sutra 1.1.12). The living entities, like the Lord, are full of consciousness, and they are after happiness. The Lord is perpetually happy, and if the living entities associate with the Lord, cooperate with Him and take part in His association, then they also become happy.
The Lord descends to this mortal world to show His pastimes in Vrndavana, which are full of happiness. When Lord Sri Krishna was in Vrndavana, His activities with His cowherd boyfriends, with His damsel friends, with the other inhabitants of Vrndavana and with the cows were all full of happiness. The total population of Vrndavana knew nothing but Krishna. But Lord Krishna even discouraged His father Nanda Maharaja from worshiping the demigod Indra, because He wanted to establish the fact that people need not worship any demigod. They need only worship the Supreme Lord, because their ultimate goal is to return to His abode.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
