No way is evolution true. There is no way that ooze crawled out of the ocean and became a man. Read The Bible, Genesis Chapter one Verse one: In the beginning God, created the heavens and the earth. That is a simple but true answer.

What can I say, but you can't get anything right.
"In order for it to be true, someone must have to acually BE there at the beginning of the universe."
WRONG! If a tree falls and nobody's there to hear it, does it make a sound? Of course.
When police solve crimes, do they go solely on evidence, or do they use eyewitnesses?
Not technically wrong since it is a question, but crimes have been solved purely on the basis of physical evidence.
"If evolution is true, why has it yet to ascend to a 'scientific law?' Why is it still a theory?"
WRONG! Scientific theories do not "ascend" to laws. A law is a repeatable observation. A theory is a mechanism (hypothesis) that explains a set of observations, predicts future observations, and is tested by verifying the predictions through observation.
"gravity is no theory. it is a law, and we KNOW that it exists. why hasn't the solar system separated then?gravity is no theory. it is a law, and we KNOW that it exists. why hasn't the solar system separated then?"
WRONG! Gravity and electromagnetism are theories. There is a "Law of Universal Gravitation", but that is merely the observation that a force exists between two masses that is proportional to the masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distances.
"Can't they ever amass enough evidence to prove it? Nope, they will never acquire evidence to fully prove evolution. God always wins, so they might as well give up."
Given your track record and the absence of evidence for God, you lose. Thank you for showing your best defense of God's existence is sheer ignorance.

Why would you ask a question when you are trying desperately to prove it with your own opinions and beliefs, while trying to stop others with different points of views to answer? "They might as well give up." Is that not called close mindedness and ignorance? What would you suggest. LOL.
Sir, as a fourteen years old, it is seemingly a fact that no matter how close minded I am, I won't ever be as worse as you.
You know why? I gather information and opinions, not blab random comments out of one source, and I don't ask questions of opinions when I want the answer to go my way.
A question is equal to confusion. In this case, it's not only confusion, but also stupidity.
You are arrogant because I am pretty darn sure after reading what you said, you're closed to different points of views and are only open to support. You might as well post a question asking for support, not opinions.
Evolution may be a theory, but then so is the "Holy Spirit." There is no evidence to fully support both of them, and only ignorant people alike to you would make stupid claims like "I know the truth!!!" When you don't have the evidence to prove it.
The bible was written decades after Jesus died, and the old testament only reached around 100 A.D. Do you possibly believe you know everything about Jesus?
You can't trust everything you read. That's a fact.
There are contradictions in the bible. That's another fact.
Your evidence is in everyway disproved by DavidTK. Come back after a long sleep and bath, and an open mind.
Your question is leading into a huge internet quarrel, and I don't suggest going further.
If you truly think you are better than atheists and people of other religions because you have a different belief, wake up. You're in reverie.
It doesn't make you any better to desperately try to defend a theory that you can't prove.
A theory gives you two options. You can either accept it or you don't.
In my opinion, it is foolish of you to try and disprove one with random facts, especially since this has been going on for centuries and has been resolved.

Scientists don't do "Laws" anymore. That went out of style when we realized that any theory is subject to change pending new information. And there is almost always new information.
One does not have to be at a location personally to determine what happened at a location or time. If that were the standard of proof, then few criminals would ever be convicted of a crime. History would be nothing but random guesswork.
And FYI: Enough evidence HAS been gathered over the last 150 years to demonstrate the ToE's validity. If you care to actually do some reading instead of listening to Kent Hovind's pseudo-clever soundbites, go here: http://talkorigins.org/
Edit: Cremo is a long-debunked hack with no evidence for his claims. He's right down there with Ron Wyatt.

Evolution is a fairly well supported scientific theory that explains diversity and change in species. There is lots of evidence.
Scientists also know that increasing evidence, more data, more research is likely to modify theories.
Scientific laws are not permanent, they change with added data. The goal of science is to understand, predict, and control natural phenomena.
Religious texts do not work the same way. They are said to be eternally TRUE. The goal of religions is to exercise control over the flock by terror tactics that will enable religious leaders to fleece the flock.

knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I'm not sure where I heard it, but it's something I'm sticking to. God or not, I look at the facts. For the simple reason that a solid fact can not be easily challenged. Evolution may not be true, but if that is the case, I need to see facts, not postulates, not theories, facts! I'm not saying there isn't a higher power that started the whole thing, Or that it isn't helping it along, I don't know that. but evolution is defintely occuring. Why do we have to get a flu shot every year? because the Influenza virus is evolving rapidly. That's a fact.

It is true, and is now a proven fact (details on request). Most scientific theories are not provable, and continue to be called theories long after there is no reasonable doubt as to their accuracy. Einstein's theory of relativity is an example; it cannot be proved to be correct, but survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki would be unlikely to suppose that it wrong. As for evolution, it has been established science for a century, meaning that biologists routinely use it in their work because it gives correct results. As for god, people have been trying for thousands of years to prove the existence of god, and no one has yet succeeded; it is provable that no theory of god can have any consequences in the real world.

You, sir, are hopelessly lost in a dark closet of your own design. Evidence of evolution surrounds us all the time. Think the river canyon was always that deep, or maybe the water running over the earth continuously in the same area corroded the ground into a canyon. Brilliant.
Or, explain to me domesticated animals. Perhaps dogs were created by god with automatic knowledge of what "here boy" meant. Think cats purr to each other? or is that a method of communicating pleasure and satisfaction they "evolved" after hundreds of thousands of years living with humans. Hmmm...
Evolution is like an elephant in the room, and people who don't want to believe it are like someone standing there with their eyes closed saying"What elephant?"
Wake up before the mental corrosion becomes permanent.

Origin of Species/Charles Darwin....I'm sure you have heard of it. Who has been telling you it is theory, the church you go to? It is FACT and has been taught in many schools for many DECADES. The church also says dinosaurs were never here. I believe that has been proven as well!
HHHHHHHHHHmmmmmm....
It doesn't say we ARE monkeys, we just EVOLVED. Everthing else did, maybe THAT was God's plan! The whole Bible is MAN'S plan to divert you from the truth. If we are made in God's image and ever-seeking the truth.....wouldn't you think he would want us to question and think!!! The Bible is MAN MADE. LIFE is NOT. Read the Bible, and question life...God made us in HIS image, he would want us to. So, if we evolved, I would still read the Bible and question my existence. I figure if I question, God made me to question (since I am made in HIS image), so he will not hate me for questioning or seeking the correct answers. Scientists have already proven many times over we have evolved. It doesn't mean there is no God. I believe in God and evolution. I believe God evolved from the Greeks and we don't rely on the Odyssey for faith. However, to this day, it remains a great book of literature. Like the chicken or the egg type thing, according to your question. God only knows, but how crazy is the "Evolution theory" vs. "God taking a rib from Adam and then hating Eve because she spoke to a snake and condemned all women to a horrible childbirth, because she didn't listen"? Hmmmmmmm........... Which one seems more plausible? Seriously? Unless of course, you are a man. :)

Hello X, my personal belief lies somewhere between the two extremes of Evolution and Creation. If you think about it, the basic spirit of evolution is that creatures adapt through time and thus change accordingly. In other words, over the millennia of time, subtle mutations happen so as to help living creatures adapt to the changing surroundings. Since this is the case, I don't find Religion and Evolution clashing at all. All these ideological frictions are a waste of time. If I were God, I would be wise to create living creatures that are able to evolve, subtly through time, to suit their surroundings. Don't you agree? If you see it in the point of view of God, everything becomes clear.

Do you know bacterias are evolving all the time, that's why we need different antibiotics. To see the evolution just look at the nature around you and not in to an abstract theory of the Big Bang.
