"I" cannot "see" "MY -- SELF" and "I Am" not a creation of the world, "I Am" the world, expressed in many different forms. The body and its senses provides the vehicle in which I can experience my - "self" in form through reflections in my dream. It is a means for my - "Self" to know - Its - "Self". Creation is the dream in which everything unfolds for me, and my various forms call me many different things, but of course, "I Am" not a thing...God is fine, if you would like, I call my "Self" many different things in my dreams...

I am a creation of God (design requires a designer), made in His image and likeness (unlike animals and other creations of God that were made for us and not in His image) (Genesis 1:26,27). I also believe that since "by Him all things consist" (Colossians 1:17) I am sort of an "emanation" because without God nothing would hold together. I am also an image-bearer so I guess I emanate His image as well (It was His plan from the beginning of time for people to bear His Image and the image of His Son Jesus Christ - Romans 8:29; Ephesians 4:13).

I, the person, am a part of the body and mind of what might in simplistic terms be called God. My body is a construct of the matter of the planet, provided by my parents for my use in this world at this time.
How's that for gobbledegook?

According to the Bhagavad Gita (Song of God Spoken by Lord Krishna (God) 5,000 years ago- We are all part and parcel of Him. (Not our material bodies) our Souls. We are infinitesimal sparks of his splendor. We have all the qualities of God but never in the same quantity. He is full in all Qualities. (Just like one drop of water in the ocean has the same qualities of the ocean but the drop never becomes the ocean. for more info on this topic go to harekrishnatemple.c

As jesus was , I am. The word is manefestation not emanation. Jesus was a living, breathing manefestation of the word of God. ie... "be careful what you speak for it might manifest itself". As it is written "Know ye not that ye are Gods". and "Have I not said that ye are Gods". ie... "The Sons of God the House of Israel".
