I don't agree with the ideology of the Bible, but I probably associate with David, because I would like to be the guy who topples something much larger.

I wish we could have a radio station and play "guest dj" for a night. So while we typed we could listen to someones favorites if we wanted to.

I also think it would be fun to do a "raid" on another category, like politics. Espeically if we went in with a theme like ... going into politics and only talk about cats or hair bands. :)

I need some prayer about direction. It looks like I'm not going to be able to go on the short term missions trip to Jamacia this year. I need confirmation from the Lord that this is His plan and His direction. And if I'm supposed to do anything towards a different mission trip. Thank you for your prayers. I appreciate them more than words can say. And if you have any encouraging words, please share them too. Thanks again.

I dream we are changing -evolving and becomming a people who seek to heal ourselves and others through educated understanding, acceptance and love. I feel we are all one, and to harm you is to harm me...to heal you is to heal me, to love you is to love me.
When differences arise, are we yet ready? Can we give, even without the returns of recognition? I believe we are.

It just slips out all the time. Whenever I ask God to forgive me and to help to not do it again, it just happens again. It's at the point where I don't want to ask for forgiveness anymore because saying a prayer that's insincere or whatever is also taking the Lord's name in vain. I've struggled with this for years now. Today I got really mad and yelled and cussed at God. I just don't know what to do. I read an article put out by one of my Churches saying that even the Angels don't take the Lord's name in vain and how dare we do what the angels dare not do?

We have two friends who died in our car when they borrowed the car and then both died in an accident in the car. We have seen these two people walking by the windows of our house and down the sidewalk only then to disappear. Also, one of the persons used to come over and use our computor when he was alive. Recently we think he has been using it again because we have typing going on in the middle of the night but no one is there when we look, and of course the typing stops. Can anyone relate to this with any exsperiances they have?

How much do you know abou the Wiccan/Pagan religion.
I'm curious to know how informed people are about religions other then their own.

Who may have read the (real) facts and who only know what they've been told by someone else?

Please don't preach to me. I don't believe in hell or sin so your words are empty here. I just want to know who has taken the time to learn the truth about Wicca.

An atheist would be = 0%
A Muslim extremist = 100%
A Christian fundamentalist, probably = 90%
A Christian universalist = 30%
and so on.

On a scale of 0-100%, how would you rate your own belief in Christianity AND all that it claims (that it is infallible and the only truth worth knowing)

Are you 100% convinced that Christianity is perfect, historically, scientifically and philosophically?

or just 50%.... 60%

...and why?

Personally I believe that there is a God. My beliefs gravitate towards Islam, which I am converting to. I cannot entirely agree that any religion is flawless.

I have a have some questions regarding the nature of God,

-What is God? Is God a seperate entity that looks at us from outside or is God something internal, a force that drives everything?
-Why would God leave his eixistence to debate? If God's message is not made entirely clear wouldn't that lead people to counter his wishes in his name?
-What does it mean to truely pay respect/ackowledgement to God?

Someone recently posted a 'review' of evolution that was pretty much entirely wrong. However, it included the statement that we are not made out of rocks.

When the Earth formed, it included minerals (rocks), metals, and gases. What exactly do you think you're made out of that wasn't in that list? I've got news for you - you're made out of hydrogen (gas), carbon (mineral), potassium (metal), oxygen (gas), and so on.

Please tell me what you're made out of that doesn't make that list.

I saw a program on NGC channel, somewhere in india,a witch
claims he can contract with God.The ritual is like this:At mid night in a graveyard,he lights up a fire ,drinks some chick's blood, and then dances fiercely for about half an hour, then suddenly he stops the dance, twitchs without control, and then
sits down on the ground,(what he claims )this shows God is now onto his body and will speak in his tone.now you may ask some questions about fortune, future or health,e.t.c,and local villagers say that this words are strikingly accurate.
The problem is ,what is really onto his body,Satan or God?

Two things I've found get on my nerves a LOT:
1. People who claim all Christians are stupid, believe in anything, illogical, and all Bible-Thumpers. People who clump all Believers with the people who claim to be believers but live hypocritical lives.
2. People who claim to be Christian, then demand to everyone they come across that the Bible is right, and they're sinners, and they deserve hell. People who say "just read the Bible" but don't give anywhere to look. People who think they're the holiest thing since swiss cheese.

I'm honestly bothered by both. I want to know your beliefs, your stand on the question (or even if you think both are equally bad), and what you think the best solution to the problem is.

Please be objective. No stupid answers like "evolution is bogus, why believe it?" or "there is no God, so what's the point in answering?"

I was raised Catholic, and grew up in a country were people don't know much about the Quakers. In fact, most people there mistake the Quakers with the Amish.

I've been away from religion in general, as I don't agree with many things the Catholics or the Protestants preach. Recently, I read some articles about the Quakers and to my surprise, I found the religion to be very close to my beliefs and I've been thinking about going to one of their meetings to find out more.

Is it possible for someone from that faith to tell me a little about their own experience?

Thanks in advance!

How may people need you? (Please list them)

An article in a psychology journal several years ago drew a corollation between the number of people who need you compared your life expectancy and general health.

Recenly a few major insurance companies have adjusted their actuary tables to include how many people needs the perspective policy holder.

Please list the people who need you; pets definitely count as people in regards to the corellation done in the study.

(Be careful, a certain number range is a good thing, but if too many people need you it is unhealthy according to the study.)

Personally, I think the truth is in both. I've asked so many question about religion on this forum, im exhausted. I asked if it was possible to believe in Jesus (Christianity) as well as Islam, and Many Christians have said no.Im Christian, I never read the entire Bible, and never read the Qu'ran, but my plan is to read both entirely. Simply because I don't believe God has made any religion, therefore I don't believe people should be divided into different groups. As it is obvious that neither religion will believe in the other, one has to be right, and the other wrong, or maybe all partially right

Christianity says Jesus is the son of God. Islam says Jesus was only a prophet. One cannot believe in Islam if he believe Jesus was Son of God.

Son of God, Or not Son of God?

Would it be safe to say that we are all the childrens of God. I believe it says that in the Bible. And If that statement is true, then that includes Jesus, Mohammed, Abraham, Moses, etc

What do you think?

(1 Corinthians 14:34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

(1 Corinthians 14:35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Some Christian women said no.... so why do you not follow them?

1. Women should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority." 1 Corinthians 11:7-10
2. Women should not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. Timothy 2:9-10
3. Women should learn quietly and submissively. I do not let women teach men or have authority over them.
4. Wives should submit to their husbands in EVERYTHING. Ephesians 5:22-24

FOR ALL CHRISTIANS:

"If any man come unto me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brother, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he can not be my disciple." Luke 14:26

If you are so sure these are out of context... LOOK THEM UP!
