What is the difference between a "moderate" Islamic state and "radical" muslim state?

List the things that differentiate the two types.

TRIBBLE -- I like your answer. I put radical and moderate in quotes to make a sarcastic point. Namely that there is not a great deal of difference between the two kinds of Islamic states.

BAD SQUIRREL -- I understand the point of your graph, but instead of showing diametrically opposing ideologies on a line, I would use a continuous circle graph that shows both ends connecting and the two different Islamic state are only 1-2 degrees seperated from each other.

I would say that the moderist and radical state are differentiated by use of force or use of communication. Communication is used to avoid force in society, yet the presence of it is also used to ensure moderation of ideals.

It's not about lists. It's about the relative ignoritude of the sacred textism. If you will, a graph. (This graph works for Christianity and possibly pacman too!)
