Here in an quote of the quaran from an answer to another question

31. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.

It clearly states that they should draw their veils over their bosoms not their faces.

Many times my prayers have been answered. Things have happened that without my faith in Him I could not explain. Many small miracles.
I do not judge you for your beliefs, I just want to know who you think answers my prayers if He does not exist.

Whenever ancient statues, idols and other Hanuman related remnants are excavated, the physique and body structure of the hanuman imagery is muscular and built to such an extent that he must have been advaned in bodybuilding. The ancients must have been aware of the effects of bodybuilding on the body structure to be able to build statues so accurate in so far as the physique. Moreover, when carbon dating is used to ascertain the age, the age is classed as being thousands of years old - a time when bodybuilding didn't even exist.

Moreover, the ancient vedic civilisations was believed to be advanced in sports and fitness and the hindu texts encourage wrestlers and bodybuilders to worship Hanuman. In Greek Mythology there is a deity that is described in terms strikingly resembling Hanuman and the Greek deity was also renowned for his bodybuilding prowess.

Is HANUMAN the TRUE FOUNDER of BODYBUILDING???

I believe in the moral teachings of the bible but how does anyone know for sure there is a god. Why is one religion better than another?

I started reading a few passages out of the Jefferson bible and am starting to like it. No supernatural garbage. No walking on water and calling yourself god. Has anyone started a new Christian religion based on the Jefferson bible? This is the bible that Jefferson ripped apart and rewrote the stories as if they actually happened in the real world. It's not like reading the bible which can be compared to a superman comic book with all those dumb tall tales.

I believe that our world is a wonderous place, i believe that we are part of some great plan,and i believe that we have a creator. I dont know who or how much power and control he has though!
So my question is this...if the christian god created the whole world and every miraculus thing in it...why did he need help with a simple little book???
And why, if he knows how our minds work, because he created them, did he make the bible so hard for people to understand it?
You may say that it was easier to interperate hundreds of years ago, so where is the new one if he wanted people to base their faith on it?
And why was it not given to all the inhabitants of earth?? For example the Australian aboriginals only learnt about god a couple hundred years ago when the white man came...

I have often heard, from Christian's (who else?), who have said that the Constitution does not say that there should be freedom from religion and instead it says there should be freedom of religion.They are half right.Here is what it actually says:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." -Bill of Rights Amendment 1

So, what does " no law respecting an establishment of religion" mean?

Simply put, no law that respects, say Christian beliefs, can be established.This can also be worded thus:
"freedom of (to practice whatever faith you believe freely) and from religion (To have no law made that is for any religion or against anyone who does not believe in one certain religion).

Agreed?

Math proves God is the Anti-Christ.

G = 7th letter of the alphabet
O = 15th letter of the alphabet
D = 4th letter of the alphabet

15 is 6 if you add 1 + 5, so there is one 6
Multiply the 7 & 4 to get 28. And 8 - 2 = 6
Add the 2 you subtracted from 8 to 4 & 6 again appears

Taken together, this is the mark of the beast. (6+6+6 = 666)
Therefore, GOD = Antichrist.

I hear Christians speaking of having eternal life one day.

The thing that bugs me, is that eternity is defined in the dictionary as having no beginning or end.

Problem is..., that we had a beginning. Now, this is a real problem because...,

Even if you get a new spiritual body, or go to another eternal realm, you STILL had a beginning.

This defies the dictionary definition of eternal existence. The dictionary is either wrong in it's definition, or living eternally is impossible because you had a beginning.

So, which is true?
