I am a Malay. I know (maybe) that some Chinese (traditional) believe 4-4-4 is a symbol of death but I have been seeing these three repeated numbers far too many times...
I as a modern guy, try not to believe any superstition.. but then again...

When I lived in Vancouver for a while, this was a really big issue for the Chinese residents there. They really liked the number 8 though. Many stores would put up ads like: "Buy 4 and get 8", instead of "2 for 1"

Perhaps as this is a religion & spirituality question,you believe something about 666.I don't know if you do,obviously.
An old film star from hollywood,Carole Lombard,dismissed suggestion that she was in danger,because of a series of 3's.She left to fly back to the west coast during the Second World War,leaving with two others at 3 o,clock.The flight was to take three hours.There are several threes involved in the story,including the fact that,apart from the pilot,there were only the three of them flying.She dismissed warnings,the plane crashed in 'Nevada' with no survivors.

Well apparently its not true. Three years ago my Birthday date was 04/04/04. Nothing ever happened.

When I was into wicca and reading tarot cards, I use to see 333 as death and 111 as paramedics and 1111 as someone going to jail and 555 for money coming. Well, since I have burned all my wicca books and walked away from this practice, I am now a born again Christian and have asked God not to let me see these numbers as meaning anything. I no longer see anything happen when these numbers appear, even though satan still tries to make me see them as I use to even though he knows he lost! Be careful! This is not the work of God it is of satan.
