God was made in the image of man by some guys in a desert who lacked an imagination to create a God that was more interesting to describe then that he looks like us or that we look like him.Fact is, no one knows what God looks like because there is no such person outside of literature, dogma, and delusions. So, to describe what God looks like would be better spent describing what a hallucination looks like.

Are you asking what does God look like physically?
If you are refering to Gen 1:27 man created in God's image. ... What that is saying is that man was created to be like God meaning pure, without sin, holy, those characteristics. The only man to be created in God's image was Adam. The reason I say that is because Adam was the only man without sin. When we are born we are born into sin. Now we are created in the image of the second "Adam" which is Jesus Christ and through him can we only be made in God's image because we are covered by his blood.

when they said that we are created in the image and likeness of God, it means we are composed of the same stuff as with God. God is in everything, from the smallest building blocks of matter to the vast endlessness of the universe. Now can you imagine how God look like?

The "image" refers to man's awareness of self and his (our) spiritual standing. We are different from all the other creatures in our spiritual awareness and the possession of a soul.
We know God has no body as He is a spirit.

I thing nobody knows exacly.
They made God's image to help us believe to God, it's like visual demand. It's easier to pray if we imagine something.

Like Jesus.
John 14:9 - Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
Daniel 7:9 - (refering to God) "As I looked, "thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
Revelations 1:14 -( refering to Jesus) His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.
