I believe in the moral teachings of the bible but how does anyone know for sure there is a god. Why is one religion better than another?

these are flukes of mans stupidity and hence there is no good reason for belief in a god . some moral precepts of the bible hold up some do not . No relligion is any better than the way in which the kind hearted attempt to practice it or not as the case of justice and morallity call for .

In my opinion, all religions are the same... I'm a Christian and personally I believe that Christianity is not a religion but rather, it's the way to find God and to build a personal relationship w/ Him.. let me explain why it isn't a religion...bec as you've read from the Bible, it's religion that killed Jesus...bec of hypocrites who gave more importance to their "religion" and practices than their love for God...they didn't believe in Jesus..anyway, you'll understand what i'm trying to say when you experience God's love yourself...I know that some people don't believe the existence of God bec they dont see Him... and that He's only a product of one's mind...but I promise you with all my heart that He is real and the only way to truly feel His presence in your life is to let go of this unbelief...may God lead you!

there is no god, not in the real sense, god is a creation of the human imagination.
some religions are better than others because they are more tolerant, readily accept changes when these are required and do not instruct their congregations to treat other faiths in a derisive or aggressive manner.
considering what I said about good and bad religions, I think it is difficult to point at any religion that fulfills all these conditions.

I know there is a GOD because I feel him. With all my heart and soul, I know there is a GOD. You don't necessarily have to have institutionalized religion to believe in GOD, to pray to Him, to worship Him. You just need to believe that he is always there for you. You have believe that his teachings are the true teachings.
Whatever religion or belief system you choose is up to you. Don't let skeptics and nonbelievers confuse you.
If you believe and you feel him present in your life that is what counts. It all boils down to faith not necessarily religion.

tough question..people know that there is a god because they all have faith.
you can't find your faith by asking people..you must find it yourself.Run through every religion there is in this world..christian,islam,hinduism,buddhism..
all these religion practices the same moral values but quite different believes..such as many gods and 1 true god..you decide.
a better religion is not for me to judge..but a better religion must be a religion that tells you everything..not just praying and asking for forgiveness..

Humans invented all this crap. We can't explain something so it must be the work of a "god." That is apparent with all the different religions in the world. Each culture and society has their own different version.
