Someone please tell me that she is NOT claiming to be Christian.

She does need a bottle of blessed water to wash out that mouth.

Is she the epitome of megalomania? Or just suffering from a serious case of delusions of grandeur?

Church people, I believe, believe that atheists and others of their ilk are headed for Hell, where they will burn and rot forever. Not just burn but rot too.

Question: do science people who find the Bible stories rather far fetched, do they really have to go to Hell -- or can they get mercy for "extenuating circumstances" or whatever?

For example, what if a science person cannot, try as he may, manage to achieve the belief that Jesus came to life after being dead three days and rose into the sky?

Replies from religion scholars appreciated.

What does He believe in? Himself?

That's even worse, it's called Satanism!

possibility that man evolved rather than was created, have they received a "NEW LIGHT" from God?

We hear so much about what people think about certain religions who may have had a "New Light" and have left behind beliefs that they feel do not match the Bible. Yet, those making the use of more common Bibles are finding that these issues are not as clear cut as previously thought. Have they seen a "New Light" and why aren't the rest of us seeing it?

(I'm re-posting this here as I had placed it in the wrong category earlier.)

One night I told my Wife I was interested in Learning about Jonava Witness. She said she would find someone for me to talk to. All I wanted to do was learn about them. I did not think that reading books or articals on the Witness would help, as I wanted it out of the horses mouth. There is nonthing like hearing about something from someone who knows a lot the subject.
One week later two men show up with their books and their bibles, with a look that the devel would have had had he won the duel with Mohammad in the cave. The two men were not interested in teaching me about their religion, no they wanted me to convert. I was told I had a free mind in this matter. I was told I could stop studing when I wanted to. I was told if I wanted to leave so be it. No one will hunt me down. Look at the frutage I was told. Well I did want to leave. I could not, and when I said no more, I lost my wife, Dog, House, Friends, Work, and myself. After 11 months I am finaly getting back.

We hold the individual responsible for his or her behavior, but the bases behind that tradition does not hold water when you look at it a little closer.
Mitigating circumstances are considered in the jury selection process after the charges are leveled at the acussed. But that flimsy consideration does not mitigate the fact that people behave in society according to the enivorment they grew up in and and the genitic perdispositions handed to all of us without our consent.
If you are mentally ill, you are mentally ill because of circumstances in your life. For example, trauma victims are subject to a long list of possible symptoms often that naturally occur after the event of trauma. The more trauma a person experiences can lead to multiple symptoms of higher degree. All the mass murders are by definition mental ill. If not then there is no rational bases for human actions.
You have to realize that eating cheese in 1800 has consequences unknown in 1800. Things change as we learn.

Is there any hope for Satan, the proverbial devil? After all, he was also created by God? Or was he? Or is satan just another side of an equation trying to balance itself?

Like, would it be considered good if a pious person committed sin, so he/she could go to hell and convert satan , and show him the right path? It eould be the ultimate sacrifice, wouldn't it?

I don't think there is one atheist on this planet who would deny the biblical God, if He was 100% proven.

However, I'd have a pretty hard time serving and worshipping an immoral create as is described in the Bible.

So, would you worship Bible God if he would be proven? Serve Him?

You made it, now you're in Heaven with God.

So one day you were playing tennis, suddenly there's this Satan wannabe, let's call him Bob.

Bob, thinks he can take God's place and plotted a rebellion.

Then God said "Oh Me, not again.....fine, let's reset the whole universe and do it all over again, just to prove My point."

How would you feel?

Donating a large sum of money to your local church or a night in Vegas with a couple of hookers? Think about it before you answer. Assume the following is true:

The hookers are not diseased

The church is not corrupt (I know that's hard to believe for the atheists out there)

"And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

If god feels sorry for what he has done, he made a mistake, right?

How can god be perfect if he made a mistake?

Who believes that they are brainwashed?
I do...
Ok...I might make some generalizations but I am fed up with this crazy conservative Christians...
They don't think for themselves and all they do it quote the bible for everything.
They're little sheep for the government. They support the war...yet they believe killing is a sin?
They judge EVERYONE...yet they say only God can judge them?
They don't believe in Global Warming??!!!
Those ministers that run those super churches...they live lavish lifestyles and ask that poor evangelicals send them all the money they have in the name of the lord...so that they can live comfortably in their multi-million dollar houses. Poor people that need to pay for perscription drugs or can barely put food on the table send thousands of dollars to these frauds.
They are live in a little nutshell filled only with perverse translations of the Bible and never base anything on fact...all their "opinions" are what they were taught from the ministers... etc etc...

Satan interacted with Eve in the Garden of Eden before sin existed so was satan given authority by God to interact with humans or did he find a loop hole under God's radar to do it?

How would satan be so unrestricted by God to be able to manipulate man's rationality through occults (an unconventional religion), demons desguised as deceased loved ones (even if they only bring comfort), and possibly UFO encounters (as I've heard from some Christians)?

Could demons trans-substanciate into biophysical beings for our deception?

Is satan responsible for all the physical evidence discovered in our universe?

What is this strange desire to want to live forever? i.e. Christians: Want to live forever in mansions and on streets of Gold and saying night and day forever: "Holy is the Lord" "Blessed is Jesus!" (Read the book of Revelation)

Who would even want this?

I mean, a million years later, after you know everything and have been everywhere, any being would want to die! A billion years? What then?

The idea of eternal life is nothing more than a political philosophy to pacify the ignorant masses and to control events in this life.

You think that 70 or 80 years is a long time? You don't even know what you think. You stake your entire reality and existence on the presupposition that Christianity is true, yet, you have no more experience with God than a rock does.

Inless you ARE GOD - Eternal life is equivalent to Hell.
