For example,
All the churches I have been in mostly teach to "Love the sinner, but hate the sin".
If this truly applies, we should love satan (biggest sinner of all), but merely hate what he does (sin).
Ministers will tell you that it is fine to hate Satan, & that he deserves hellfire, but my biggest complaints with that are:
God created Satan. Why? If he hated him?
If you created someone, (say, it was YOUR kid) would you hate them?
So what if Satan deserves hell fire, Bible says to LOVE your enemies (is Satan an enemy?) which is not the same as loving what they do, it is perfectly ok to hate his evil actions.
People have all done wrong as well, & according to the Bible, not just Satan, but ALL of us are deserving hell fire.
So if we deserve hellfire along with Satan, why all the hate/love contradictions they teach in the pulpit?
No wonder people get confused & kill "those horrid sinners" after they get a load of love your enemies, yet kill them?
How can this foster peace?
