We are not bashing their religion...we are bashing the small percentage of Muslims that think it is their calling to blow up themselves and everyone who they can take with them because those people are NOT Muslim.......

Although, it would be helpful as far as public relations are concerned on the part of the remaining Muslim people if they would join us in trying to stop the radicals

Christianity isnt the only religion that bashes other religions. Islam has done it for many years, just look at their history. The reason why Christians, Muslims, ETC. bash other religions I believe would be that they believe that their religion is the "one true religion" and they are ordered by their God or their holy scripture to try to convert. In doing this they think that they have to try to corrupt or destroy every other religion to carry out the demands of their God.

It is really quite a sad thing. People should have the choice to follow whatever religion pleases theirself because no two individuals can find the same peace from one religion. For me being a Christian wouldnt provide the peace that being Jewish does. But I dont think I should try to force anyone to be Jewish themselfs, if God wanted everyone to believe in him all he would have to do is snap his fingers and everyone would know. That is why he gave us free will, so we have the ability to choose which religion it is we wish to practice.

Sorry so long.

well but then you have to ask ,why do so many Muslims make fun of Christianity? - just to be fair ! if I remember correctly Muslims blew up a bunch of Buddhist statues that are 1000's of years old! that was not too long ago 2001-2002.does that not account for discriminatory behavior towards another religion! and we wont even talk about the Jews - will we!
please don't do this , because Muslims are just as guilty in cramming believes down peoples throat with violence if you will, not good - not good at all!

It's an easy target, especially since 19 of the top 20 terrorist attacks in the last 25 years (not counting Iraq, of course) were done by Islamic terrorists. (The exception: the Oklahoma CIty bombing.) As religions go, it is no more demented -- or less so -- than the rest.

I only started to criticize Islam after 911. Too many Muslims wash their hands and say Islam has nothing to do with violence, when in fact it does.

First of all it encourages hate.

"O believers, do not treat your fathers and brothers as your friends, if they prefer unbelief to belief, whosoever of you takes them for friends, they are evil-doers." (Repentance: 20

"O believers, do not make friends with the Jews and Christians; ..whoso of you makes them his friend is one of them." (The Table: 55)

Muslims are hard against the unbelievers, merciful to one another." (Victory: 25)

Now Muslim say that was taken out of context. But the context is not stated. But that is like me writing "Muslims are evil" (I do not believe that by the way) and then defending myself by saying it is taken out of context I only meant the terrorists.

Then you have the violent passages. Even if it was meant in defense of Islam, it still leaves open the questions what is an affront to Islam. According to the terrorists what they were doing was defending Islam. So Islam gives them the go ahead to commit such acts.

When I start to criticize Islam and you defend it you start to become more passionate about you view of Islam being a peaceful religion. You will become less susceptible in supporting the extremists, and more passionate in fighting them.

I agree that ciriticism of Islam isn't "racist" and should no longer be labeled as racist. the comparable human beings (numerically, they are regularly Christians) who regard it as unseemly or "disrespectful" to question or criticize the tenets of any faith would be speedy to throw around the 1st epithets they could think of of (which incorporates "racist" or "miltant") on each occasion all people criticizes any monotheist faith or tries to evaluate its claims in accordance to conventional, commonsense standards of information and reason. All religions are meant to be very surely exempt from this type of scrutiny. Or did no longer you get the memo? i do no longer recognize any atheists who might refrain from skeptically and heavily conversing/writing approximately Islam if the prospect arose, e.g., if a Muslim got here right here to R&S and published a query that offered or implied some demonstrably fake declare approximately Islam. quite, there are extreme-profile atheists (Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Ibn Warraq, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris) who've committed significant time and verbiage to precise and cogent grievance of Islam. because of the fact the youngest of the three considerable monotheistic religions on the planet, Islam has had the least quantity of time wherein to "reasonable" and to come again up with handy procedures wherein believers could cherry-%. the doctrines that they like and pretend that the different doctrines (those that prescribe one hundred lashes for adultery and condemn apostates to death, etc.) do no longer exist. Christianity has a seven-hundred-twelve months head start up in this branch, and Judaism has a 1200+ twelve months head start up.

Well, Christians believe that they are following a man who was the Son of God, a humble and compassionate person who exhorted His followers to be good to all mankind and seek converts by preaching the Good News.

Muslims believe they are following a man who was illiterate, married a nine-year old girl and took his own son's wife by force, and exhorted his followers to seek converts by conquest and murder.

Which would you make fun of?

Christians don't make fun of Islam, because Christians are getting martyred today for the cause of Islam. There isn't anything funny about it.

It is Islam that does the jihad attacks, the bashing.

Islam is antichrist so those who follow Islam literally will be antichrist.

Throughout the history of Christianity, there have been Christians who have attacked both Judaism and Islam. Sometimes it's in the form of violence, while other times lies are used.

The worst cases have been when the Bible is used to support hateful language and actions.

The fact is, Christians have more in common with Muslims than they do with atheists. As a Christian, as part of The Lord's prayer, I yearn for a world where God's Will is done, "on earth as it is in Heaven." Muslim means "One who submits" to God (Allah) and His will.

Those of us who center our lives around God and doing His will should work together, and not fight. Working together, I believe, would be doing "God's Will".

I think that you have part of it right. Also, most Christians, along with some other religions, are taught that their way is the only way. And, if mommy and daddy tell them that all other faiths are wrong, and therefore evil (either real mommy and/or daddy or the leader of the church), it must be right. It is easier for some people to act like a sheep than for them to think for themselves.
