What does He believe in? Himself?

That's even worse, it's called Satanism!

Don't know about God---but in a way you could easily say that Christ was an atheist---in that he didn't believe in a separate God---He taught that God--the source of all existence--the potential for perfection is our birthright--and is within everyone. He called the 5,000 strangers in front of him at the "Sermon on the Mount"--the "Light of the world"(Matthew 5:14)-In Luke 17:21--Christ taught "the Kingdom of God is WITHIN you"--Christ knew we were all different--but not separate--It's such a shame to watch his so-called "followers"--pretending just the opposite.

An atheist is one who does not believe in the existence of a higher power.
Since God is all-powerful, He denies the existence of a higher power and is therefore an atheist.

What? Of course God believes in himself.! .In the word he says he could find No One Greater then himself..so he swore on Himself.
Hebrews 6:13
For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear,
I find no one greater either!!

He believes in his Father just as we believe in Him. As man is, God once was as God is, man can become. Although religion is about faith, it isn't about which story is most believable, it is about finding the truth. God believes/ knows the truth.

Fictional characters are neither theist or atheist.

This guy, albeit a bit freaky, does a little monolog on this very debate:
