Allah isn't Israel's God.

We christians should call 'God' Jehovah really, as that is His real name.

There are certainly prophecies in Old and New Testament about Jews coming back into their promised land. And God is bound by his covenant with the Jews to fulfil them. That doesn't mean they are consistently nice guys though. Some of the orthodox guys are very intolerant.

The Israelis probably haven't dealt with the Palestinian issue ideally, although I suppose most states Arab, European and so on have had bloody histories. The Palestinians may regard them as invaders. Its quite likely that many Palestians are Arab guest workers who came in when the Jews got the country running well , but some Palestinians were certainly original occupants, and some of them were dispossessed during the Israeli/Arab wars.

Most christians used to believe in 'replacement theology' until quite recently. In fact in the UK this is still very often still believed. In this the idea is that God has cast of the Jews as a special people, since they rejected their messiah. In this understanding people ignore prophecies specifically about Israel, so think its like any other nation, and look at the fact it has been quite violent establishing itself. Maybe they still think that way in the middle east churches.

They are supporting muslims because they are living among them and they know the reality ,they can not be fooled by Media which tells them that palestinians who do not have even an army are evils...they are observing themselves who are the victims and suffering and who is responsible behind all this !

Allah is an Arabic word meaning God and even Arab christain call their God as Allah ! so don't be confused !

particular. Arab Christians use the term Allah. Allah is purely a be conscious. The term Allah and God potential a similar element. Arab Christians predate Islam via just about six hundred years. Arabs have been the 1st Christian converts of the Apostles. And, they call Jesus Christ Isa bin Allah, or Allah.

I agree with Muslim Rose that the Arabic name for God is "Allah" and Arab Christians use that name for God as well. But the important distinction for Christians is that they follow Jesus ("Isa" in Arabic) whether they are Arabs or Israelis.
When someone becomes a Christian all his sin has been washed clean by Jesus, but that does not mean that he suddenly loses all his bad habits and his cultural training. It takes time to relearn ingrained patterns and restructure them according to the Word of God, the Bible.

Allah is just God in the Arabic language. The Arab Christians speak Arabic so that is how they say the word God.

Like God is Dios in Spanish, Dieu in French, Gott in German, Deus in Portuguese, Gor in Russian etc...

People who believe that Allah is God are not Christians. Christians not only believe that Christ existed, they believe he is their life leader and savior as well. If they hate Isreal, it is probably because they do not believe in the God of Isreal who is the father of Christians Christ. Also, their are a lot of politics involved in the middle east as well. It is not all about religion although the Muslims would like to pretend that it is.

Huh? The Christian god is NOT Allah, he is Jehovah. If they say Allah, then they are not Christian, they are Muslim. As for the Jewish, since when is that new? They've been persecuted for millenia. Its completely wrong but Christians and Muslims do persecute others.

I have many Jewish friends (some from college are from Israel) and this is a major point of contention between us. I say plainly that Israel is an occupying force on someone elses land, placed there by the Allies after WWII to destabilize the mid-east. Their only claim to the land is religious, and unsupported by the actual anthropological evidence. Given this, US support of Israel amounts to a violation of the separation church and state.

huh? Arab-speakers were calling God 'Allah' before Islam came around, because it's the word for 'god' in Arabic.
