but they did not think he was god, or even the son of god, or maybe even doubted that he existed, but think if he did then he was 'just' a wise & enlightened man (like buddha)... would that person still go to hell?

Exodus 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

A pregnancy will naturally terminate through birth.

So is the abortion of a healthy unborn life, the termination of its life, its heart beat, in reality the cult ritual of human sacrifice disguised as a 'right' ?

Whether you believe that he is real or not. You must know this and never forget it. Even people who accept Jesus into their heart as their friend and savior and that have alziehmers will never forget Jesus. He will always love you. ALWAYS! There isnt a darn thing you can do about it. If you pitch a fit and get mad. He might as well put a diaper on you. Because some people act like big ol babies. Grow up people. Grow up. God can't use cry babies.

I believe in God and Jesus and the devil and all that, but I just don't have a religion because I want to believe what I want to believe, not what a certain religion says I have to or I'm going to hell. My friend says it's agnostic but I'm not sure...It's like neutral theism or something of the sort....

You should believe in God because God exists.

Do you believe in God, why or why not?

He spent the last years of his life trying to prove this; he couldn’t do it, due to chaos theory. Was he right? Is the fact we cannot prove his ‘order theory’ down to lack of scientific understanding or is it all down to chaos?

Jesus is not His name. Yeshua...translated from Hebrew to English...means G-d SAVES...or Salvation.

Greeks MADE UP the name Jesus, not because they couldn't pronounce Yeshua, but because they would be condemned if they said "we are going to follow the Jewish Messiah....See ya! "

So they called Him (Hey-Zeus) Jesus. Europe still says it "Hay-Zeus". This was to please Greek traditionalists into thinking that they were still worshiping ZEUS.

His name (the only name that you can be saved) is YESHUA.

Remember this:

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua Mashiyach haNazarati, whom you crucified, whom Elohim raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NO OTHER NAME under which you may be saved.

Acts 4:10 & 12...Original writing.

First off...NO I'M NOT RELIGOUS! Don't preach to me...
My sister-n-law and I were talking about marriage and such and the topic of marriages ending came up some how. Anywyas, she said that "you have to believe in god to make a marriage work and it will"
So I asked,"so if you got a divorce, that means you or your husband quit believing in god?"
She said, "oh...no." I don't understand! Is she crazy? (she's religous)

If you ask the same question about Jesus, the sensible answer sounds somthing like this "well, if I saw him resurrect dead people, turn water into wine...sure, as long as its not a good magic trick".

The story of Muhammad and how the first Muslims came to believe is another issue entirely. Under Islamic teachings, there never was any other-worldly phenomena shown to the first Muslims to give them some clue that Muhammad wasnt simply making up his prophethood claim, as is so common among the mentally ill.

Considering this, would you have followed Muhammad based on nothing but his word? Dont be so hasty in saying "no way". If you lived in the region, you were constantly looking to see which tribe was the more powerful...betting wrong on that could quickly prove fatal.

Imagine being the average person...someone who hedges his bets. You hear Muhammad make his claims, and then see his military success...do you not ascribe them to "the divines favor"?

When he is in fact, directly or indirectly, a mass murderer. He sent young soldiers with their whole lives ahead them into Iraq to search for weapons which weren't even there, resulting in thousands of pointless deaths. This is not sacrifice, this is wastage. Although the bible says "an eye for an eye ect..." it also says Thou shalt not kill (or murder, one of the two). So that would mean that by using the death penalty, he disobeyed one of ten ten commandments. He doesn't sound like a very good Christian to me.

Obviously we don't change every name in the Bible to another "English name".

SO...is the name Jesus Holy?
