When he is in fact, directly or indirectly, a mass murderer. He sent young soldiers with their whole lives ahead them into Iraq to search for weapons which weren't even there, resulting in thousands of pointless deaths. This is not sacrifice, this is wastage. Although the bible says "an eye for an eye ect..." it also says Thou shalt not kill (or murder, one of the two). So that would mean that by using the death penalty, he disobeyed one of ten ten commandments. He doesn't sound like a very good Christian to me.

One of your answers, Sacajewea, is wrong on the costs of the death penalty. The death penalty costs much more than life imprisonment. The extra costs begin even before the trial starts.
Life without parole is available in 48 states, means what it says, starts right away, is rarely appealed, all at a fraction of the cost of the death penalty. And once Sacajewea takes a look at some of the recent programs on MSNBC about supermax prisons she will realize that life without parole is not a picnic.
This is not about the original question but the death penalty is too important to let a mistake go by uncorrected.

I agree that George Bush doesn't meet liberal standards of morality. Like the Bible says " Thou Shall not Kill" although Liberals slaughter millions upon millions of babies in the womb. These babies had their whole life ahead of them, and they are protected from being murdered by Biblical law. But since they are not being murdered by President Bush it is OK and this is not wastage as you call it? Do you classify yourself as a moral baby butcher?
The weapons you spoke of are considered by many to have been taken to Lebanon and placed in the care of Hizbolla. Their rocket barrage of Israel proves the peacful nature of Islam.
I am a Christian and I support the death penality. If a person commits murder then that person becomes a debtor to the law. The murderer has taken a life and is obligated to repay with a life, his or her own. This isn't contrary to Biblical teaching but actually is in accord with Biblical teaching ( Genesis 9:6) it is a moral obligation to put every murderer to death.
The attack of 9/11 show the true intent of Islam toward Americans Christians and Jews. Islam's history is full of war and slaughter. The Black Death Plague in Europe was introduced by Jihad as an Islamic ruler catipulted plague killed bodies into a European city during a siege then it spread through out Europe. Armenia was the world's first Christian country untill the Moslims used ethnic cleansing to slaughter all the Christians. President George Bush has an obligation to defend our country but the Liberal Democrats see the war as a way to regain power if they orchistrate a defeat as they did in Viet Nam by cuttung of funds to prosicute the war.
Let us hope the Democrats are successful. I will (like you) rejoice to see American children blown up in Pizza Joints the way they were in Israel. I will feel good we didn't stop Jihad overseas but allowed it to come here so we can argue the case for surrender over the corpses of children like the school children in Chechnea.
George Bush will never meet the moral standards that the athiest liberals impose on him no matter how devout his faith in Christ is.

US intelligence classified white phosphorus as 'chemical weapon'
By Peter Popham and Anne Penketh
Published: 23 November 2005
http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/article328703.ece
The Italian journalist who launched the controversy
over the American use of white phosphorus (WP) as a
weapon of war in the Fallujah siege has accused the
Americans of hypocrisy.
Sigfrido Ranucci, who made the documentary for the RAI
television channel aired two weeks ago, said that a US
intelligence assessment had characterised WP after the
first Gulf War as a "chemical weapon".
The assessment was published in a declassified report
on the American Department of Defence website. The
file was headed: "Possible use of phosphorous chemical
weapons by Iraq in Kurdish areas along the
Iraqi-Turkish-Iranian borders."
In late February 1991, an intelligence source
reported, during the Iraqi crackdown on the Kurdish
uprising that followed the coalition victory against
Iraq, "Iraqi forces loyal to President Saddam may have
possibly used white phosphorous chemical weapons
against Kurdish rebels and the populace in Erbil and
Dohuk. The WP chemical was delivered by artillery
rounds and helicopter gunships."
According to the intelligence report, the "reports of
possible WP chemical weapon attacks spread quickly
among the populace in Erbil and Dohuk. As a result,
hundreds of thousands of Kurds fled from these two
areas" across the border into Turkey.
"When Saddam used WP it was a chemical weapon," said
Mr Ranucci, "but when the Americans use it, it's a
conventional weapon. The injuries it inflicts,
however, are just as terrible however you describe
it."
In the television documentary, eyewitnesses inside
Fallujah during the bombardment in November last year
described the terror and agony suffered by victims of
the shells . Two former American soldiers who fought
at Fallujah told how they had been ordered to prepare
for the use of the weapons. The film and still
photographs posted on the website of the channel that
made the film - rainews24.it - show the strange
corpses found after the city's destruction, many with
their skin apparently melted or caramelised so their
features were indistinguishable. Mr Ranucci said he
had seen photographs of "more than 100" of what he
described as "anomalous corpses" in the city.
The US State Department and the Pentagon have shifted
their position repeatedly in the aftermath of the
film's showing. After initially saying that US forces
do not use white phosphorus as a weapon, the Pentagon
now says that WP had been used against insurgents in
Fallujah. The use of WP against civilians as a weapon
is prohibited.
Military analysts said that there remain questions
about the official US position regarding its
observance of the 1980 conventional weapons treaty
which governs the use of WP as an incendiary weapon
and sets out clear guidelines about the protection of
civilians.
Daryl Kimball, director of the Arms Control
Association in Washington, called for an independent
investigation of the use of WP during the Fallujah
siege. "If it was used as an incendiary weapon, clear
restrictions apply," he said.
"Given that the US and UK went into Iraq on the ground
that Saddam Hussein had used chemical weapons against
his own people, we need to make sure that we are not
violating the laws that we have subscribed to," he
added.
Yesterday Adam Mynott, a BBC correspondent in
Nassiriya in April 2003, told Rai News 24 that he had
seen WP apparently used as a weapon against insurgents
in that city.

He uses a prentence of faith to hide his lust for the old ching ching, bling bling. If he stood on a poduim and explained his real reasons for invasion he wouldn't stand a chance, so better to hide behind religion - which unfortunately enables a lot of people to get a way with murder.............................
As for the commandments
1 - You shall have no other Gods but me - He worships money
3- You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God - every day he keeps the war going he misuses the name of God.
4- You shall remember and keep the Sabbath day holy - course he does.
6- You must not kill - yep ok
8- You must not steal - unles someone has something you really want
9- You must not give false evidence against your neighbour. - wepons of mass destruction anyone?
10- You must not be envious of your neighbour's goods. You shall not be envious of his house nor his wife, nor anything that belongs to your neighbour- so thats what it's all about!

Christians can be murderers to, if you don't think so then you are living in a fantasy world. I'm not a Bush fan myself, but TECHNICALLY he didn't murder anyone. I thank all of the troops for volunteering to join the army, so that my husband didn't get drafted....but they CHOSE to go over there. Nobody made them. (This war is pointless by the way)

Hey. I may not agree with Bush.
But, in the Sermon on the Mount, Christ says not to judge and you won't be judge. Simple, but strong words.
Seeing as though this thread is about judging someone, I would say it goes agains Christ's words.
It's real simple, don't judge and you'll escape the Judgement. Let's work on ourselves, people. It's a fallen world, but Bush is a sinner, but no more than me.

What kind of an idiot would blame Bush for being a mass murderer?
Wake up, moron. We're in the process of hunting down the world's worst monsters, and you're not involved. You're safe in your home with the freedom to be stupid.
Maybe you should be on the next London train.

Anyone "Baptised" in the name of the "Father", "Son", & "Holy Spirit" is Christian. God has different plans for each of us ... but it's God's plan not ours.
We should unite in prayer that President Bush ( & other leaders) will follow God & his plan.

He's not a mass murderer. He thought the WMD's were there. He wanted to remove them to PREVENT future deaths. That's not murder. Well-intentioned? Yes. Negligent....possibly. Murder? No. Plus Russia, UK and Bill Clinton all agreed they had WMDs. Don't put it all on Bush.
