Because Christians like to pick and choose what they want to follow out of the bible. At the same time, they lie and say that they are following the bible in its entirety.

The thing is about the 10 commandments is that it points to the fact that we in no way can ever be sinless without the work of Christ. Jesus is the Ark and we must be in him to survive the flood.
Holy spirit convicts and the condemnation doesn't come from God.
I hate it when I use words of condemnation like those others them and so on in respect of putting down others and try not to do it. I am responsible for my own Christianity and others theirs. As Christians we need to be looking at our own behaviour first before looking at other peoples. I hope you agree. Because we are certainly not perfect and even if we were it would be flawed because this is a fallen world and we are all sinners.
There are people in this world that have to do what their employers ask because otherwise they can not afford to look after their family's. God LOVES familys.

Seeing as how the cathlic authors in createing the recent Testoment replaced god,s sabbath to Sunday it doesnt rely lots what the christians do. God,s Sabbath day replaced into Saturday for hundreds of years and God replaced into chuffed with that. of direction the catholic authors additionally claimed god replaced it,s created son,s to Fallen Angels and adjusted it,s favorate created son , Lucifer, into devil. Lucifer replaced into additionally primary because of fact the jap celebrity and the Bringer of light. And there are not any words interior the O.T. of god ever punishing any of the son,s for any deeds they did. The son,s by no potential rebeled, allways did each and every little thing the daddy asked of them so the place does the catholic authors get that approximately god changeing the son,s. this is all basically a lie in createing the recent testomony and Christianity. There are nonetheless thousands and thousands of people who don't think their O.T. god works interior the mannor the catholic authors declare. it somewhat is informed that god created the universe and all living in six days and then took 3 days to carve some words in a stone. feels like god is slowing down in it,s previous age. lol

Why do YOU ignore the rest of Holy Scripture? Kindly take off the blinders of your legalism:
Scripture:
Isaiah 1:13 - God begins to reveal His displeasure with the Sabbath.
Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus' resurrection and appearances were on Sunday. This is because Sunday had now become the most important day in the life of the Church.
Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the "first day of the week." Luke documents the principle worship was on Sunday because this was one of the departures from the Jewish form of worship.
1 Cor. 16:2 - Paul instructs the Corinthians to make contributions to the churches "on the first day of the week," which is Sunday. This is because the primary day of Christian worship is Sunday.
Col. 2:16-17 - Paul teaches that the Sabbath was only a shadow of what was fulfilled in Christ, and says "let no one pass judgment any more over a Sabbath."
2 Thess. 2:15 - we are to hold fast to apostolic tradition, whether it is oral or written. The 2,000 year-old tradition of the Church is that the apostles changed the Sabbath day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.
Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of "another day," which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord's resurrection, which was on Sunday.
Heb. 7:12 - when there is a change in the priesthood, there is a change in the law as well. Because we have a new Priest and a new sacrifice, we also have a new day of worship, which is Sunday.
Rev 1:10 - John specifically points out that he witnesses the heavenly Eucharistic liturgy on Sunday, the Lord's day, the new day of rest in Christ.
Matt. 16:19; 18:18 - whatever the Church binds on earth is bound in heaven. Since the resurrection, Mass has been principally celebrated on Sunday.

Jesus being a Jew under the law of the old covenant observed the sabbath as Gods word (not the pharisees) directed. He knew it was lawful to do fine things on the sabbath. However the inspired
christian writings state that "Christ is the end of the law" (Romans 10:4), which results in Christians being discharged from the law (Romans 7:6).
Neither Christ or his disciples made any distinctions between the so called moral laws (Thou shalt not kill etc....) and the ceremonial laws (observation of the sabbath, mixing linen with wool etc... some say sabbath was moral but Christ always compared it to the other ceremonial laws not the moral laws).
The disciples did speak and quote from the 10 commandments and other parts of the law considering them equally binding under the new covenant and law of loving Godabove all else and loving thy neighbour as thyself (Mat 5:21-48; 22:37-40; Romans 13:8-10 etc..). The scriptures plainly state that Christs sacrifice abolished the law of commandments consisting in decrees (Duet 4:8 on) and that God blotted out the handwritten document against us. It was the complete mosaic law that was abolished, "blotted out" and consequently the whole system of sabbaths, be they days or years was brought to its end along with the rest of the law, sacrifices and everything else, by the death of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:13-15; Col 2:13,14)
This explains why all Christians can esteem "one day as all others" with no fear of judgement by another (Romans 14:4-6, Col 2:16 --quoted below--)
Romans 14:4-6 (New King James Version)
"Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
"One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks".
Colossians 2:16
"Therefore let no one sit in judgement on you in matters of food and drink, or with regard to a feast day or a New Moon or a Sabbath."
After Jesus' death his apostles at no time commanded sabbath observance. The sabbath was not included as the christian requirement at Acts 15:28, 29 or later....nor did they institute a new sabbath, a "day of the Lord". Even though Jesus was resurrected on the day now called Sunday nowhere does the bible indicate that this day or Saturday should be commemorated as a "new" sabbath or in any other way.
1Corinthians 16:2 and Acts 20:7 have been appealed to by some
as a basis for observing Sunday as a sabbath. However if you read these veres they merely indicate Pauls instructions to christians to lay aside a little money in their homes for their needy brothers in jerusalem, a certain amount each first day of the week.
Don't forget though the 2 greatest commandments were to be adhered to...and all those things which encompass them...for example lying and/or murdering your neighbor or having an affair with his wife is not loving him as thyself.

Because unfortunately it's a luxury not everyone can afford. I'm a Christian by the way so don't have a go at me when you read this. I think you can still honour the sabbath but some people have to work 7 days a week to put food on the table. If you are not in that position, count yourself lucky! Honestly, some people are so selfrighteous...

FOR FATHER K Rebuttal.
You false man, Christ was resurrected on the Sabbath day, not on Sunday. You do not know scriptures. There was a another "Sabbath" that week that the Bible references during the 3 days in the tomb.
On the "collections" verse, note it says "STORING UP", or gathering of food, laying aside AT HOME, not at Church. This is not about collecting money, it is the FIRST day of the week or a WORK DAY to gather up. (Read carefully you careless man).

We in Dwyfor (N Wales) didn't.We had it forced upon us.
For years we were the only region in Britain who had 'dry' Sundays...pubs were closed.Referendum after referendum had the same result..an overwhelming 'dry' vote.A few years back the powers that be decided to lump us together with the much more populated Arfon. The result..a scraped..'wet' vote.
Fair enough..we'll have a chance to change it next referendum...but no..It was then decided that that was to be the last referendum EVER....tough!
No wonder this country has gone downhill.
