to answer the question instead of rambling on about pseudo-related facts or complaining about how you are being persecuted?

I'm convinced that the Fatima Miracle (The Dancing Sun thing) really happened. Several athiest news reporters, along with thousands of religious people allegedly witnessed it. But, I'd like a rational explaination as to how it occured. Any ideas or theories?

Why do you criticize people of faith for supposedly ignoring science;but have no problem ignoring the fact that it simple doesnt make logical sense that an explosion ignited its self?If your response is m-theory,then it doesnt make sense that universes create themselves.Truthfully, any sane scientist will tell you that its impossible for matter to always exist,so that rules out m-theory as a plausible explanation.Evolution also doesnt make sense cuase sane scientist will tell you that life can only come from life;so evan if you say it started with the single celled organism, then your asserting that this single celled orginism is alive;so what previous form of life created the single celled organism? Please dont say the universe, cuase the universe it's self is not alive,so it doesnt make sense that the single cell organism was created by the universe.Ya'll accuse creationist of ignoring science;but my observation is that ya'll ignore some basic, truthful commonsense.

The US has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the developed world- about 75.4 pregnancies per 1,000 girls, including abortions.

Considering that 77% of the US identifies themselves as "Christian", and that "Christian" messages have often been showcased in the media, why is this?

How can anyone on this site claim to know what God thinks? I keep reading "God doesn't think this" or "God believes that". Of course you'll claim it's 'cause the Bible tells you so, but don't you think such a mind-blowingly powerful creator possesses a mind so complex and dynamic that you can't even begin to understand or keep track of what God thinks or believes?

“the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old” http://www.islamicity.com/mosque/sunnah/bukhari/062.sbt.html#007.062.064

Google-it, verify it for yourself. Islamic scripture is perfectly clear about this, and only a minority of western Muslims even try to deny this...Muhammad at 57 pre-selected (pedo-engagement)Aisha at 6 for "marriage" and then committed this act Muslims call "marriage" when she was 9.

So heres the issue. Today there are over one billion Muslims on earth, all of whom are taught that all of Muhammad' conduct is the very "path to heaven". Thus, anything Muhammad ever did is a perfect example of human conduct...today and for all time. Thus, under Islamic law, its excellent for adults to marry children.

Stupid people like to say "it was common back then". It was never common for adults to marry children. Children did marry children, that was common, but never was adults and children common!

Have you ever discussed Isaiah 7:14? I mean so many Hebrew names had something to do with God. Why do Christians think it is impossible that it really was talking about a guy named Emmanuel?

Consider the huge almalgam of things God must tend with.

For every Human, there's a billion=billion bacteria that are also God's creations.

God must think of Humans just like He thinks of the tiniest nit on the hair of a roache's butt. There's billions of them - why are we different?

God looks at the big picture. If someone gets murdered, its like some parasite taking over some slugs body.

Do we care if a slug gets eaten-alive by maggots? Yes, a little, Does God care - maybe, but probably not a whole lot. Did God care when Kennedy was assasinated -- probably as much as He cared about that slug.

The biggest problem with Humans is that they think they're something special. Lots of species have gone extinct - there's no reason to think that Humans won't go extinct.

We're just another link in the evolutionary chain. Someday the proto-humans will look at us with an attitude..
(I'm not related to them - they ate with their hands, and had race riots in Alabama.....)

I know that most Hindus do not eat but I read that it is bc they are just like pets in India not anything that is worshiped. My husband and I are Muslims and we rent out a basment but the people above us are Hindu. I was cooking beef one day not offering it to her and I do respect her religion but she asked me not to ever bring beef into the house bc she cant do her prayers and all this. But I know she drinks and has it in the house and in our religion we dont drink nor have it in our home so that is not my religion. But I did not say anything bc its not hers. Why would she say that and is it true. We have differant believes so we cant make the other do our religion. And I also think she dont want us eat meat on tues just bc they dont???????

In a previous question the majority(overwhelmingly) says abortion is murder. So is it participation in it if we as Christians are silent or complacent? Do we not bear some of the guilt if we do nothing and the blood of 50 million innocents is on our hands also?

Atheists who ask real questions check answers, vote, select a best answer - and so on.

Do you other folks even check answers? I see by your profiles you don't ever answer anything. Maybe you don't even read other questions and I'm wasting typing time?

What gives?
