Why do you criticize people of faith for supposedly ignoring science;but have no problem ignoring the fact that it simple doesnt make logical sense that an explosion ignited its self?If your response is m-theory,then it doesnt make sense that universes create themselves.Truthfully, any sane scientist will tell you that its impossible for matter to always exist,so that rules out m-theory as a plausible explanation.Evolution also doesnt make sense cuase sane scientist will tell you that life can only come from life;so evan if you say it started with the single celled organism, then your asserting that this single celled orginism is alive;so what previous form of life created the single celled organism? Please dont say the universe, cuase the universe it's self is not alive,so it doesnt make sense that the single cell organism was created by the universe.Ya'll accuse creationist of ignoring science;but my observation is that ya'll ignore some basic, truthful commonsense.

Well in relation to evolution, any scientist that tells you 'life can only come from life' isn't much of a scientist. Well, they're not much of a biologist at least. The process by which life was created is called abiogenesis, look it up.
And how many scientists do you think would say it 'makes logical sense' that a god has always existed?
And the Big Bang wasn't 'ignited'. It's not that sort of explosion. It's true that we don't know what caused the Big Bang or where that matter came from (the nature of the universe at the time of the Big Bang prevents us from knowing anything that happened earlier) but that doesn't mean the Big Bang is false. It's the theory that best fits the data.

Common sense argument again. Hhmmmm.
It would be so helpful if such people actually educated themselves on the basic science behind the idea of the Big Bang. Likewise, the basic science behind detractors to the theory (not all Christians).
There is so much public domain knowledge about it and the scientific origins of life that it's quite silly to put forth arguments like the one above, and yet, it is ALSO important to recognize that the theories of evolution and the Big Bang are not fully proven, nor are they going to be until we can time travel, despite the evidence that has been gathered.
Educate yourselves, people. Read up before you slam the other side. You'll get more respect and might actually make a convert or two.
Not religious, myself. Know God exists from personal experience, but that's not proof to anyone else, nor do I expect it to be. I'm also a great fan of Christianity (despite it's past errors and some poor choices, it shines as the most charitable organization in history), as well has having read the Bible three and half times as well as having a solid background in science, philosophy, world religion and logic (formal and symbolic).
Join me. Life is fun on this side.

Your right, the Earth is 10,000 years old and Christ never existed because his genealogy goes to Adam but skips Noah. Since you want to quote science, no DNA no person.
If my matter can't come from nowhere then your God can't either. And if your God has been here forever so has my matter.
I left the ministry behind when I started finding the Bible was about like interstellar space, mostly empty. As an Atheist I prefer to live and let live but you're not a well balanced person.
Go back and study your fairy tales. They make about as much sense as you do.

I suggest taking some science courses, then maybe it might make sense but if you expect me to give you a graduate understanding of cosmology on a yahoo answer you are obviously mistaken.
Let me just say that based on your question you have a strawman understanding of these issues. You say they don't make sense and you are right but the reason they don't make sense is you have been so filled with misunderstandings and mistruths that of course they won't make sense.
I suggest learning science from somewhere other than a creationist web site. Just about every claim you made was factually incorrect.

Evolution, modern Geology and modern Astrophysics all came about because scientists discovered things in the world that could not be reconciled with the the belief in a six day creation.
There can still be unexplained things, like how life might originate. But that doesn't prove a six day creation.

I do not understand your problem! You have faith in something you cannot see yet you disbelieve reality, I think it took evolution with a spark of the divine to get us here. They go hand in hand because life has duality in everything. If you want to dispute evolution theories I suggest you study them, with an open mind that is! But what does it matter, you are here live as you want to and don;t spend your life pondering about what is or isn't. Concentrate on the here and now!

lol you are an idiot. Have you ever even talked to a scientist?
That makes sense 99% of scientists understand evolution but "sane scientist will tell you that life can only come from life". If you are basing your arguement on what "scientists would say" you have disproved yourself.

Evolution and the big bang are two different things. I would give you some more answers if you posted more specific doubts instead of "Evolution doesn't make sense"
