No, these are not sins. I think one could get carried away with it especially with the tattoos....some are just plain bad taste...but to each his/her own.

The best answer I've heard about tattoos is this:
In churches people love to have beautiful ornate church windows. We consider it a way to honor God- Now the bible talks about our bodies being the temple of God- so what way to better honor him than to decorate our temple?

About Plastic Surgery- It could be a question of motive. It could be that you get plastic surgery for the same reason I wear glasses or my wife wears make-up. It's kind of expensive, permanent make-up.

Dying hair: Honestly I couldn't even think of a reason this could be a sin. Chances are most people know you do it, and it just makes you look a little younger- like losing 10 pounds- and that's not a sin.

I have 7 tattoos, no plastic surgery, and do not dye my hair. Of course, I am an atheist, so I don't believe in sin either.

some religions such as protestant believe that thouse things are a sin, i believe that the tatoo and plastic surgery are. you shouldnt alter the body that God gave you you should worship it your bosy should be a temple not an art gallory for tattoos or a canvas for plastic surgery doctors to practice on. as for dying your hair its only temp. and will grow back out to normal color

heavily, have you ever seen an infant with an exceptionally undesirable cleft palete? If somebody is keen to repair it with plastic surgical operation do you relatively think of God might say, Oh no! Ever hear of a deviated septum? My mom suffered with one for some years. Then, she had a nostril activity to repair it. so what if she appeared extra effectual. She stopped having migraines. Get a existence.

the only mention of tatoos in the bible is in the old testament in which they were told not to tattoo themselves for the dead.but old testament laws don't apply to us so it is fine, plus we are not of the same tribe that was told this either.the new testament does not condemn any of these practices, the last two weren't available at the time.

I think those things are ok, just like everything else (drinking, smoking, food) if done in MODERATION like the Bible says. No one who has 50 tattoos looks good....God says your body is a temple...treat it as one, not as a ghetto wall that looks grafetied!
