That arguement is great, but old. The way of the future is GENETICS baby! It even more beautifully describes how genes transfer, making evolution blatantly viable. Atheists, maybe this new tactic willl convince those with gaps in their fossil records.(maybe their medulla oblongata is so messed up their awkward breathing withholds enough oxygen to allow them to believe increationism...).

I hear some say he IS love, but after years of study, I am not so certain any more!

How can a God of love, punish people who sin because:

-) He gave them free will
-) He told them to do as they wish
-) They were created imperfect, incapable of being perfect
-) They sin through lack of knowledge (born dumb)
-) They have no desire to live forever (this is a sin?)

If he truly is God, why:

-) Create hell to burn them with
-) Demand repentance
-) Give free will then rescind it
-) Create them in the first place?

Why couldn't he just let those that will, enter heaven, & leave the rest alone to blow themselves up or whatever. I am sure if they wanted eternal life, they would ask for it?

How is forcing eternity on ANYONE showing love (not all want it!)

Sure, there are those who say this is free will.

But if a gun were held to your head & U were told U had the option NOT to do as the gunman said, how much choice is there?

It is the same with God. No-one can debate his orders.

The genetic materials in bacteria can mutate and some bacteria are no longer killed or stopped by antibiotics.

I agree, but this has nothing to do with evolution. This is an example of a bacteria losing information, not gaining information. It is still a bacterium. If this is the best evidence that somebody has for evolution, then they need to re-examine the logic behind holding to this illogical position.

what would you accept as absolute proof?
We all see "you can't prove god doesn't exist" all the time. But what if I could? What would you accept as ironclad, irrefutable proof that there is no god?

Fellow Americans i know you are worked alot for very little and i also know alot of you are going through hard times and will never live a life other than the general commune of work, pay bills,watch superstar kids on tv and then get ready for work again while we travel the globe, wine and dine in fantasy hotels and brothels, see the planet and experience what we want. but i do feel the pain you feel and don't worry and go to church for it will get better when you die and winged humans called angels will take you to an awesome place for i know this so don't worry and get a good nights rest for work tommorrow.

I have been trying to buy a game for my son. I have been into over 50 stores which sell out the game and do not sell them, even if they have them in stock except on Sunday when there promotion begins. In keeping the Sabbath day holy I will not shop on Sunday. I could buy this product elsewhere and pay alot more but I don't feel this is right. Does anyone agree? Do you have any advice. I have been speaking with managers and explaining the situation. I would like to buy the game prior to Sunday sales or Monday morning. This whole situation of sales promotions beginning on Sunday bothers me.

that they were christians at some point of their life! but they turned atheist because their life was miserable with God?

I don't really believe in those statements, because I don't know what kind of God they knew in that time, it seems that all of these people did not experienced a close and intimate relashionship with God, these people did not were free! for some reason!!

My christian cousin had been comiting fornication ( sex with another either before of after mariage). She is not sorry for it and she thinks it is ok , to keep commiting it. I have tried telling her that it is not ok, especially if not married. She says that she just cannot stop, becuase it is like having a devorce or something.

How do I convince her that it is not right, the first time and especially not another time, without completely shunning her or judge- ing her. Help please, I wan't to see my cousin in Heaven.

I do not pray and fast as most nominal muslims do.Infact I pray Fast and behave like the Quran says. Has any one thought how the past prophets prayed and fasted. I am bold enough to opt out of steroetyped islam and do just what the Quran says. Please dont post a reply if you are Sunni or Shia.
