Since we are created in his image, which one is his image, man or woman?

Some places seem to indicate masculine power in the Bible, while others appear to show off his feminine traits of love & compassion.

Anyone know? Thanks!

I know that there is that sensitive issue of depicting Muhammad, but I remember reading bible comics as a kid. I often thought that comics are a good tool for teaching boys stories, I wonder though if if would be acceptable to islam though.

Some women look too good to be that bad, I mean, women can't be so bad they have to burn in hell, right?

Some women just look too perfect!

How can such perfect people be cast into hell? They don't deserve it, do they?

It should be done in the delivery room, so that America can be a Christian Nation, once again. At least that's what my Pastor told us. Do yall agree?

Cmon, honestly how much proof is it going to take to convince Christians that Jesus was mortal and not divine. There is no question that this is Jesus of Nazareth's tomb.

Our Pastor is insistant that we find sponsors that are of the same Christian denomination as us. Additionally, these sponsors need to be responsible Christians; ones that attend church regularily.

Our problem is that the couple who we really want to be our child's sponsors were confirmed in our denomination, but they currently attend a different denominatial church...and that is not good enough, says our Pastor. It's bothersome to me that we can't just have solid, good Christians to be our child's sponsors, irregardless of their denomination.

What's your opinion?

Okay, so it is a known fact that you do not believe in God. Why do you ask questions of Christians that are based on the Bible which is something that you do not believe in. Is it that you are really trying to seek God in your own way? Or that you are looking for someone to shed light on you to make you believe? Are you trying to get Christians to waver in their beliefs? Why put so much time and attention into something that you do not believe in, quit simply?

I keep reading that the Bible was corrupted at some point - curious which 'Holy Book' Muslims keep referring to? How do you know it is un-corrupted?

And other media of learning?

Do they see the mounting evidence in natural history, genetics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, etc; do they learn about the world and the advance of science?
What goes on in their minds if they do? Of do they shut it all out?

For example, I have read more than one answer on here informing us that god created the world 6,000 years ago, and similar Bible claims.

Can some of them still honestly believe the Bible version?

Anybody who used to be one, your answer would be appreciated.

Why do scientists have to develop more powerful antibiotics every time?

Because mutations in those microorganisms that survive their effects are passed on to their peers when they reproduce.

It is called...er....Evolution.

And, do you agree that petroleum is made of hydrocarbons?

And that these come from decaying biomass?

And that it takes millions of years for this decaying biomass to turn into petroleum and natural gas?

It is called....er....the Earth being MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD, not 6000.

I was wondering what the colour ment on the Busshist robes; is the orange symbolic of anything? And are there different colours or anything to define a rank or heirarchy in their religion?

The only colour that I've seen is orange and I didn't know if there was a way to destinguish between who had a higher rank or position than other monks.

Thanks!
