Yes, but He is no longer suffering to pay the cost of our redemption. But yes, Paul said he was fulfilling in his body what remains of the suffering of Christ. I believe that applies to all of us.

Yes, that's why there is those little sticks with the sponges on the end to wet people's mouth when they are in agony and cannot drink. It is just an extension of Calvary. Jesus' Bride is his Church and him and his Church are one flesh so as we suffer he does too. The thing is, is Jesus is outside of time now, our suffering is somehow united to his suffering while he was on the cross. I often think about his agony in the garden and I think about the angel that came and strengthened him and gave him comfort and I think about the times when I have been ill and someone from my Church has come with Holy Communion for the sick and I think that is just like the angel that came and comforted Jesus.
