Actually, the bible is a message of hope to mankind from its creator.
In the ESV translation (a literal one) the word "love" appears more than 500 times, while the word "hate" appears about 90 times.
There are entire books of the bible dedicated to the expression of God's love for mankind.
How about as an experiment you simply read the bible as you would read a book of fiction. You may say, but wait, I have already read it. Just read it again this time with my precondition that you make no assumptions as you read, but just read the book. It will take you about two weeks to read the 726,109 words, of which 14, 462 are unique of the bible (NIV translation).
Afterwards, honestly ask yourself if you have found the bible to be a work of hate or one of manifest hope. Take the challenge and report back here afterwards.

It was mistranslated by men. It should NOT be taken literally, as doing such is putting man at a level equal to God, which means that humans are gods; this is blasphemy. As such, Bible literalists are as likely to burn in Hell as anyone else.

For Christians we belive in Jesus and He's given us joy and peace which isn't pessimistic at all. Eternally living with Him is too wonderful a thing to even contemplate.

We are all going to spend eternity somewhere. It would make sense to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.

The bible is what it is, the word of god! It will never change! either you accept or not. If you do accept it in faith your life wil be forever change. Have you recieved jesus christ as lord and savior in faith today! would you like to do so?

matt., mark, luke, john and the psalms are of great value and the REST is nothing but a steamy PILE
and there is nn afterlife - ridiculous. heaven and hell is on earth where we proactively create our positive or negative energy and life simultaneously happens
