1.) We have tail bones
2.) Over time we evolved in a way that made our tails disappear
3.)It is impossible to prove that anything doesn't exist.
4.) You are a very ignorant person. The fossil record and abundant other evidence testify that organisms have evolved through time. We did not evolve from monkeys. However, we share a common ancestor with apes, and if you go back far enough, with every living thing.

actually, you're wrong. we do have no tails.
And your logic is retarded at best. You think that we came from monkeys, which is wrong. You know monkeys have tails... okay. So your logic is that we must have tails. If you understood anything about evolution you would know that this is wrong, but you obviously don't have the mental capacity to understand science.

Ok, obviously you aren't a whiz at science, so I'll try and make this simple.
People did not evolve from monkeys. Both people and monkeys evolved from a common ancestor.
You can think of it as a family tree. Somewhere way up the family tree, humans and monkeys had the same Great great great great great great great (plus a lot more greats) grandfather. The people branch of the family and the monkey branch evolved separately from that point. Whether or not that ancestor had a tail is unknown. But here are the two possibilities explaining why monkeys have tails, but people do not:
1. If the ancestor had a tail, then somewhere along the people branch of the tree, someone married someone else with a short tail, then their kids married someone with a short tail, and eventually through many many generations, the tail got so short it disappeared.
2. If the ancestor didn't have a tail, then the monkey branch of the family tree must have gained the tail by mating with monkeys that had a stub, then a longer tail, and so forth.
The part of evolution that most Creationists don't understand is that none of the changes happen quickly. They happen gradually over countless generations.
To the second part of your question, no, atheists cannot prove god doesn't exist. That is a tenet of science. You can never prove 100% that something does not exist, you can only prove that it does. Looking at all available facts, you can figure out that their is a 99.999% chance that god does not exist, but you can never be 100% certain.

I agree. There is nothing "logical" about the evolution theory. Yes, we have a "coccyx" but what is it used for? Do we grasp to branches with it or what? Just wondering.
By the way, my God is NOT the author of confusion, so why is it that non-believers get so mad at Christians for standing up for their beliefs? Why are you so against God and His existence? Why do you choose Christianity as the focal point of your arguments? What are you afraid of --you'll be "proved" wrong because you fear what you do not understand? Why do some of you lash out bitter comments, get really vulgar, and try to find fault (i.e. grammar) in what people post? Is that all you can come up with--the broken record phenomenon? Like I said a billion times, maybe if people stop trying to find a "logical explanation" to everything, God will come into your heart and reveal His love to you. Life is SOOOO much more abundant with a relationship with Jesus Christ than to rely on some crappy theory that humans and apes share a common ancestry. Where is the joy in that? What do you look forward to everyday thinking that when you die, you go back into the ground and somebody plants a garden or something on you? I couldn't live like that. I'll take Heaven for eternity, Alex! (jeopardy)
And I could care less about what you say and think of this post - you don't have a Heaven or a hell to put me in - so sleep on it!

First of all, not all primates have tails. And, if you look at the spine, we do have a tail bone, just a very short one. Some people are actually born with a protruding tail bone, but it is removed most of the time.
Second, how does one prove that something doesn't exist. Prove to me that none of the other gods that people worship throughout the world exist.
And, we don't hate that question, we just get tired of hearing it. It's kind of like a child who does something wrong. When asked if a parent told them they were allowed to do something, they reply with "No, but they didn't tell me I couldn't either."

Evolution is a Theory (or belief); there is no concrete proof. Carbon 14 dating is not exact, and can actually be off by a few thousand years. The "missing link" bones uncovered so far have been debunked as hoaxes. They are trying to explain the supernatural by using the natural and it just doesn't work.
I prefer to base my belief on the inerrant and infallible word of God.
"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty"
1 Corinthians 1:27

The burden of proof is on you, not me. If I tell you that a unicorn lives in my basement, it isn't up to you to prove it isn't- I have to provide proof that it does.
I'm assuming you're just trolling, but I'll bite anyway for the 2 points.
Evolution phases out things that are no longer necessary for a species- tails, in this case. And the argument isn't that we "evolved from monkeys"- it's that we shared a common ancestor and took a different fork in the road.

We actually have what remains of a tail.
And I'm not an atheist, but atheists can no more prove the non-existance of god than we can prove the existance of god.

As people above have stated, we do have the remnants of a tail, in the form of a tailbone, and I've known people who DO have a tail. Also just to throw some additional science your way, Look at our cousins- the apes, and other primates. Chimps, gorillas, orangutans- none of these have tails either. Just opposable thumbs, and the crude abilities to work with tools. If you want an example of this, here's a link to some chimps who have learned all on their own to hunt with spears

and the evolutionary wheel keeps turning...

A friendly word of advice. If you would like people to take you seriously, clean up your grammer. It makes the rest of us look less intelligent. Thank you!! I do agree with you. If I had that tail that my ancestors did, I could increase my production on the job by 20%. And by the way, it is impossible to prove that something doesn't exist. What would we say, "Look, there it isn't?"

We evolved, genius. To evolve means to change. We didn't need our tails anymore, and so we no longer have them...
Oh, but wait! We DO have the leftovers from our tails... our coccyx. It's called a vestigial body part. Look it up.
And no, I cannot prove that a god does not exist, nor do I feel the need to. No evidence, no belief. That simple.
