n? Why do we get mad when someone cut us off in traffick even when there is no danger? Why do we fight over a place at the table or a favorite chair? Why do wars start over a futbol game? (this actually happened in Central America). We are just territorial primates. Glorified apes that resent our lowly basic nature and aspire to create rituals and narratives to attempt our self glorification. Why did the Trojan war started over a female? (not unlike chimp behaviour raiding other tribes to steal females)
Could present Islamic terrorism deep roots be their male "protective" (oppressive) reaction to Western feminism?

Christians are always telling us that their Jesus died for their sins.
Maybe if they didn't sin so much he wouldn't have had to die?

Also, I'm not a Christian. Does this mean that he didn't die for my sins? Does this mean that I have to be answerable for my own?

Perhaps if we were all made to realise that we would have to answer for our own and not shrug our shoulders and say, "Oh, it's okay. Jesus died for whatever I just did," the world might be a better place.

Of course all those people out there who have that sickly sort of smug, half smile on their face that says, "I know something you don't know," will have very clever and well thought out answers for the above but remember what it was like when you were very young and a bully was trying to hit you. You hid behind your mother's skirt. Don't you Christians realise that by saying, "Jesus died for us," you are doing exactly the same thing?

I just asked peoples opinion on god. Boy did I get slammed. 31 answers in the time it took me to answer 1 question.

I believe in god. I said that in my other question. I know he has harmed me and my family. He took my older brother which in turn made my mother leave. She believed in him with all her heart. She loved him more than anyone I have ever seen.

When my older brother came down with a horrible cancer she believed god would take care of them. She said she knew he would. So when the doctors told her that her son was going to die she didn't believe them, not even for a second....... Until he died.

She was devastated. How could he take he poor innocent son. He was taken on his 10th birthday. She woke up with him dead beside her. She had to carry her son's lifeless body to the living room. and then tape his eyes shut. ( he wanted his body to go to science if he died) (even though she told him god would take care of him)

I don't follow any religion but strongly believe that if I lead a good life, stay true to myself and not cause harm to another I will move on to a better place when my time on earth ends. How can people believe that there religion is the right one? Do you really believe that God will say "sorry you picked the wrong religion down you go"?

i dont no if this is an out of body experience but i remember some times when i am sitting at a desk or in my bed , i get this overwhelming feeling that well my body is being pushed away and my...well its hard to explain, it feels really good and i try to induce it, like mentally try to make myself go out more, its like im being pushed back, like a part of me is trying to escape, and it feels so relaxing and good...what could this be, did anyone ever experience this before

ok lets make this clear, atheists will always try to ask questions that challenge the fact that they're might be a God, and christians will always try to defend themselves by answering these questions....and whats with all the questions about amputees? and why do people think that God heals every thing else except amputees? cause he doesn't heal everything else, and where are all these people hearing differently?!?
