Don't sinners have more fun? At least I know I will be forgiven for mine. Save all your scientific theory's. Is it because you don't feel guilt? Are you above sin? Whats that like?

I feel guilt just like every other human being on this planet. For you to insinuate otherwise is plain insulting. I don't, however, feel guilty over imaginary transgressions. When I do something wrong, it is something wrong right here on earth, in this lifetime, and it affects me and other people. That has nothing to do with any imaginary deity as far as I'm concerned. I'm not "above sin", what you call sin, I call immoral, irresponsible, antisocial, or whatever. I don't define morality in religious terms.

I'm an atheists because I lack belief in the existence of any and all gods. This has nothing to do with my feelings or considering myself "above" or "below" or "beside" or "around" anything. Honestly, I've never understood this mysterious use of prepositions to indicate some sort of moral stance. "Above" sin... what does that mean?

If I do sin, then I don't sin against God. I sin against man. When I do wrongs to people, I ask them for forgiveness; I don't ask an imaginary friend for it. I have a responsibility to my fellow man to show them love and respect, to help them in every way I can, and to learn and grow so that I can be a better person. I don't have a responsibility to any hypothetical God.
But it's not that I doubt God because I don't want to feel the weight of some eternal, divine sins; when I was a believer in God, I had no problem whatsoever with this concept. Rather, the problem I had was with the lack of evidence for God's existence. Much as theists would like to believe that atheists reject God because they don't want to deal with the responsibility of believing in God, it simply isn't true: atheists reject God for the same reason they don't believe in Santa. The only reason they are more vocal about their disbelief in God is because they are troubled by the prevalence of belief in something like God; it's the same reaction you'd have if 90% of the population believed in Santa Claus. Particularly if they taught Santa in public schools, threw people in jail who got coal in their stockings, insulted and attacked people who doubted Santa, etc.
Of course, the very idea that atheists are giving up a responsibility in forsaking God, and thus have it "easier" than theists, begs the question--what responsibility? As you just said, "I know I will be forgiven for mine". Atheists have no such assurance, and thus, if anything, have a much heavier responsibility to deal with! They have to deal with their responsibility to human beings, who are often much less forgiving than your God. When you forsake your responsibility to humanity in favor of a fabricated responsibility to a creature of myth and lore, you are not taking on a responsibility, but rather are shirking one.
So, to sum up: I doubt God because of the lack of evidence for his existence, not because I'm immoral or evil or don't want to deal with the "responsibility" of obeying God; and just because I doubt God, doesn't mean that I don't feel guilt, nor does it mean that I can do no wrong. Like all people, I do good and evil every day; it's just that it's good and evil to other human beings, not to God.

That's exactly why I'm atheist. Arrogant think they know it alls like you turn many people away from religion everyday.
Also pick up some books that don't start with holy and do some research.

If that were true, why are atheists 50x underrepresented in the U.S. prison population?:
75% of U.S. population is Christian; 75% of prison inmates said upon entry they were Christian.
10% of the population is atheist/agnostic; 0.2% of the prison population is.
Go figure.
