Aww, I see that some of you are giving off-topic answers to my "off-topic" question. What does that say about yourselves? What hypocrites...and even if I did put it in the right section, I'm sure your answers would be biased and not much better than the ones u gave (I am speaking about the comment from F1 to Schneb) I'm sure ur comments wouldn't be good ones even if it was in the right section.

TS, Farina, and rYbKaPL1, very good points. Very true indeed. And Nick, of course you wouldn't believe it, you would never hear it in America because the media would never let it happen, America can't afford to look like the Muslim-haters they really are!

guraqt2me:

you demonstrate a very typical north american racist. and ur friend obviously isnt Muslim if he/she said that, because that is not true. or maybe ur friend claims to be Muslim but really isnt, or really is Muslim but has confused thoughts. because Muslims do NOT tolerate the concept of "convert or die" as u and many other "typical" north americans think..

Omer: This event demonstrates the typical North American New media view-point to stir-up controversy about the war in Iraq. The news media over here, has lost its ability to be objective and reports very subjective news items for the North American public. Believe me; Iran is the real instigators in IRAQ - not the Americans nor the Iraqi people per sec. The Iranian intelligent forces have managed to push the "buttons" of world opinion against the U.S. - as Al-Quaida has done with the Taliban against Canada in Afghanistan. The Muslim goal is to convert the whole world to the Muslim faith even, killing people [infidel] is necessary. It may require thousands of years to do so - but the goal remains the same. I have a Muslim friend, who knows this and told me, so ! Don't believe everything you see or read in the News.

Omer, war is horrible. I'm sure these soldiers were just doing what they were ordered to do. I do not condone violence, but I am puzzled with the tactics of the insurgents. They use human shields and everyday folk to hide their weapons. The insurgents should realize that they should put down their weapons and work with their own elected, countrymen officials. Most Americans are anxious for the soldiers to return home, yet, we realize that pulling out now will only make matters worse for the Iraqi civilians.
I have the utmost sympathy for the innocent, especially the children. May the Lord guide them and protect them. May He send His guardian angels to protect them. May the Lord grant you peace.

Where do questions of ethics go, if not in religion and spirituality.

The Intelligence Community is guided by the definition of terrorism contained in Title 22 of the US Code, Section 2656f(d):

—The term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

—The term “international terrorism” means terrorism involving the territory or the citizens of more than one country.

—The term “terrorist group” means any group that practices, or has significant subgroups that practice, international terrorism.

Who says it was patriotic? Killing civilians is horrible. American soldiers would not intentionally bulldoze a house filled with innocent, men, women, and children. If you somehow believe that, you have been listening to Al-Sadr's propaganda tapes too much. Oh and if it is a true story do you think you could list the source of where I can research it?

Thats how they want others to see..Muslim as terrorist and Islam a violent religion. They staged a propaganda to confused the world so they could find excuse to level the middle east, and the people living there just dont see it...

I don't know, but that's just so very wrong. There has been 26 charges brought up against this type of behavior though, so maybe there is some kind of justice.

You probably made that up to discredit America. Where's your proof?
Demolishing terrorists' houses is a good deterrent, a tactic we need to use more often.
Target their families, they'll lose the will to fight.

And you put this question here, why?
Probably conservatives never looked up a dictionary for the word "terrorism". They labeled all Muslims as terrorists, and most of them are bigoted fundies as well
